This is the official thread for Mac VS PC debates. All debates will go HERE and nowhere else. If any threads pop up elsewhere, it will be deleted and you will be warned. We do not need hundreds of useless debates threads going on about the same talking points.

Sooo.. Rules:

. Respect every user. You may not agree with their point, but that does not make it wrong.
. No chatspeak. This is a debate thread. Not some chatroom.
. Please be civil when arguing. We don't need any flamewars going on..
. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Linus, etc ARE NOT GAY. So please, do not post this.
. Keep the swearing down to a minimum. It is not necessary.
. Follow Gaia TOS.
. And have fun.

I'd like to share a piece of wisdom I found in a slashdot sig one day:

Mac OS X - because making Unix user-friendly was easier than fixing windows razz

I am a Mac person. I like a computer that does what I want it to do. I don't want to fuss with anti-virus and anti-spyware software. I have my router which is my firewall as well as the built in Mac software firewall in OS X. I just don't like how Windows makes things complicated. With the Mac you connect most devices and they just work. No driver fuss.

I can go on, but I will save more for other topics.

I like the ease of wireless connectivity. That is why I switched.

Has anyone seen the new Photoshop CS4 scaling demo thingie? It's actually pretty cool. (Although not enough of a reason to buy CS4...)

Does anyone think that Adobe products are too overpriced? Right now it seems that their strategy is to sell fewer products at a higher price rather than sell more products at a lower price. Maybe someone with more economic background could explain this to me? Just wondering...
