Hey. I was just trying to see if anyone else knew about the new Shadow the Hedgehog game. I've seen it advertised for a long time now, but I did not know if it would be any good. Any thoughts on it?

It looks quite good, I've seen a few trailers.
I don't really like that you have guns..... though I like the motobike
xp
Shadow dosen't really need a bike.... but oh well

Ive seen trailors for it and yeah im gonna get the game.. but I think they are over doing it with the Guns a little bit..

3 things.
#1 = wtf does shadow need guns for? doesn't he already use chaos spear?
#2 = wtf does he need a motorcycle for? won't he be as fast and more agile opn his feet?
#3 = the plot. G.U.N. vs alien invasion forces. errr.... aliens?
the graphics may look good, but i'm afraid of knowing what the gameplay may be like.

I played it, and it's alright. The guns weren't really needed too much. It would have been alright without guns and the vehicles. But, no offense to Shadow fans, there should have been more characters that you could have become. I know it was all about Shadow, but the others were there. They should have some short storyline.

You are right, there should have been more characters, and they should have had storylines. And yes, guns were unnecessary. I beat all storylines without using them at all. And Shadow has quite a mouth on him... stare But all in all, I liked the game, especially the soundtrack, and the intro was really good. And they're kinda like aliens, and from another dimension... And one thing I didn't like were the conflicting storylines... In one it said he was a being like the "aliens", and in another it said he was an android. Kinda... eh. Well, that's my review. If you're gonna get this game, pay attention to the soundtrack. It's really good.

Yeah. I noticed that too. It never actually gives you an ending for Shadow. Does he turn good, or stay evil? Does he find his past, or not? You can go either way, which is pretty cool, but you don't know what really happens. It would be hard to make another game that will be able to blend with that game. But the soundtrack was good.

He finds his past, but this is another sorta moment. You play like 3 levels from his past, so you could say he leaned his past... But then it's totally changed when they say he's an android later...

It had six really awesome theme songs for Shadow and some pretty sweet looking graphics.
Everything else sucked. A Lot. I have to say I hated the story the most though, if you can call that mixed up cluster f*ck a story anyways. If their goal here was to destroy Shadow's image entirely, I'd say they succeeded with flying colors.

You can go either way, which is pretty cool, but you don't know what really happens. It would be hard to make another game that will be able to blend with that game. But the soundtrack was good. I doubt they'd make a sequel, its just a little side, spinoff game sort of, Tails had 2 or 3 of them (tails' adventures, tails' skypatrol, both pretty hard XD). As far as I knwo it has nothing to do with the main storyline, which is WHY they gave those different directions. I haven't played the game yet, and I probly won't un til its at "bargain" prices($20 or less), considering shadow is my second least favorite character (I dislike big the cat the most). Someone told me the wheels on the vehicles look like freaking octagons, he says the game looked rushed and really only the cutscenes looked awesome. highlight below if you don't mind a spoiler if you haven't played the game, or don't think you got this storyline. My friend also said that in the end of one of the storylines, he freaking shoots robotnik in the head =_=

dude, don't BUY it.... just rent it from some place. you can beat the thing every which way in two to three days max. and there's not much replay value to it, so a rental is really your best bet.

yeah.... more of a karate chop to the head, kinda. and he does it in three of the endings acutally....

i like the game! i'm a fan of shadow. and i like the game but i like sonic heros more, well anyways reploy if you want to. all i come here is to say hi and that i like the game, oh and i like sonic megacollection + as well, and i like the old games too. neutral

I've never played it. but, one time, before shadow the hedgehog was released, I went to a store with my dad. and then, when I saw a magazine with shadow with a gun. I was like, "WTF?!? Shadow has a gun?!?" so, I desided to buy the magazine. and I thought it was good. I really, really, REALLY want that game SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad!!!! D:
