The blog mentions both Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, which IS a PC game, and Shadows over Baker Street, which is an anthology book (and one I decided not to pursue due to reading bad reviews). I think that game is the one I mentioned in the computer games thread as having seen it at Wal-Mart here in the US.
And reading the blog comments, I found THIS. And you can browse the book online--and read ALL of the Holmes story, since it is the first story in the book!

The best, though, is Gaiman's A Study in Emerald.
It's absolutely amazing. And you can read it free, here. Pay attention to the adverts, too. They're hilarious. If you're a bona fide Holmes enthusiast, you'll know what's going on almost immediately. If not, the ending will floor you. It's fantastic.
