The new poll for this month is...
What ability would you rather wield..dark magic so you can cast spells on your enemies, or excellant combat skills so that you could be a fierce warrior.

I'm torn between the two! After all, using magic would be great, unless there were consequences, like, losing energy each time a spell was cast. Then again, weapons or combat skills could also be awesome, but you'd lose your energy as well. (No one can fight for hours on end and not become tired... NO ONE! It just isn't possible!)
Well, I guess I'll be able to make a decision after other people state their opinions. ;3

I choose magic. Although it would be absolutely awesome to be able to fight using all sorts of weapons, like you said: you can't fight forever without getting drained, whereas magic would last longer, unless it drained your energy, but the sort of magic I envision wouldn't, because it would just be about knowing how to cast spells and saying the right words. There are far more things you could do to your enemies with magic..they wouldn't even be able to get close to you to use weapons against you, because you could strike them down with lightning or cast a spell which knocks them down.

Yes, I agree. Magic is better. I'd choose magic. Though it would be cool to have mad combat skills, I still choose magic.

i would say magic because it can be used as an ofencive and defensive and it can be cast from a distance if necessary or even can be used to hid someone or you etc many abilities while plain combat is much less adverse yes you have different weapons but its bascially the same thing

You could use magic as you got older and still be powerful, whereas you'd lose your ability to fight as you got older because of your body getting old.

I'd have to say magic would be more practical. :/
Despite that I generally lean toward the warrior-type.

Wow...I'm the only one that picked Combat skills lol. Magic is cool, but I think it's uh overrated? Besides, I've always wanted to learn how to fight with weapons so yea combat skills has my vote.
