At the minute I am at a loss of what music to listen to. Normally I listen to indie, but I have listened to all the bands on my iPod so much that I have got bored of most of the songs. Does anyone know any good indie bands? I already have Kaiser Chiefs, Kooks, Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys.... I need some more bands.

Oooh oh oh! The Mountain Goats! The Mountain Goats! The Mountain Goats!
But their canon is huge and breadthful (not really a word). So more album recommendations are due: If you hope that you never get sober - try "Tallahassee." Or get help. If you tell your family your sorry for things you can't and won't be sorry for - try "We Shall All Be Healed." Especially if these things are amphetamines. Again, get help. Or, try "All Hail West Texas" - which sums itself up beautifully on the sleeve as "fourteen songs about seven people, two houses, a motorcycle, and a locked treatment facility for adolescent boys."
All in all, though, dude's surprisingly well-adjusted. One of the most life-affirming things going on in popular music.
Also, and I cannot stress this enough, try some Daniel Johnston. Don't write him off right away, either. Just let his stuff grow on you for a while...

Oh! And the Silver Jews! Seriously, is there a better album opening line than "in 1984 I was hospitalized for approaching perfection"? I think not.
<--- is a sucker for overly pretentious literate American indie rock bands.

You're welcome. And if it's worth anything, the Mountain Goats will be playing London and Dorset in September, although that may be a bit far south (I understand you live in the northern UK).
...
Eeh. Actually, some bad news: the London's a 16+ show and the Dorset appearance is as part of the End of the Road Festival, hence it is sold out. Sorry.
