Whenever I look at the sky (for some reason, it has to be the sky) I see a million tiny circles floating all over the place. I have to relax my eyes a bit to see them, but I was wondering if I was the only one that saw these? Now I'm not talkin' about those spots that follow your eyes wherever they move, I'm talking about the ones that'll move nomatter what you're doing.

I asked a couple of doctors, and got mixed suggestions. One said it might be water molecules in my eye. I had been told from a science teacher that I might be seeing the little bugs that are all over our eyes all the time. Then I spoke with a different doctor who said there was no reason I should be seeing such things, regardless of moisture in my eyes or bugs, and he suggested that I had toxicity. I've shown them to others, and at first they couldn't see them, but after trying a little bit, they got it. My eyes are at the same level as when I'm trying to see aura, that's why I got to suspecting it was a third eye phenomenon.

I'd say it was something to do with your eyes. Could be bugs, though. I wouldn't put my money on it being anything "spiritual", but if pressed I might suggest you were seeing a spiritual component of the element of air.

Or not *shrug*

I don't think auras are a third eye thing. You see those in a different way, unless you're just doing that thing where your eyes... okay, so I don't know the technical term for it, but it has to do with images and so on. Like when you stare at a picture and then look at a white sheet of paper? Yeah. That. That's your eyes. Third eyes work differently.

When in doubt, Consult your Pineal Gland.

OMG YOU TOO!?!?!?!
And here I thought I was just weird.

No, this has happened ever since...a few summers ago. I would lay on my trampoline, looking up at the sky, and I would see something like little glints of light, flitting around in the sky. It's happened a couple times inside, but mostly outside looking up at the sky. I wopuld sometimes think that I was seeing the air particles floating around. That's the closest analogy I could think of.
So am I seeing the air? Is it spirit particles? Energy? I have no idea. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. smile

I guess when I think of the term third eye, I assume it's usually shut. And I assume that when you relax and concentrate on what you're seeing, that your third eye will begin to open, similarly, when you close your eyes, you begin releasing various brain waves, and your third eye has a greater chance of prying wide open. Sanguina-chan, you sound as though you see with your third eye frequently.

I'm not sure what the heck it is, but most people don't even notice it, but as far as I know, everyone can be made to notice it. The doctors offered some aweful muddy clarity, so no real help there. I'm glad other people notice them though smile Maybe it's even evaporated water molecules in the air.

Yeah it's possible. Who knows what it is?
But you know, I also see shadows and what looks like the air moving, or shadows moving, or something moving in the corner of my eye quite a lot. Even in the middle of my vision I will see motion, not like the things outside, but shadowy (whereas the ones outside were more light than shadow). I don't know what that's about.
I may need glasses in the future (hereditary thing), so that might be a possibility too.

OMG...Mistreena...That is...I don't even know what to say. o_o The SAME thing happened to me. A few summers ago I was lying on MY trampoline and was looking at the sky and saw these silverish things moving around and it really freaked me out because I had no idea what they were. I thought it had to be some form of energy. Or rather, I knew it had to be. But, dude. Wow. SAME thing happened...I see it often now. Inside, outside. Mostly when I'm looking at the sky, at snow, or at light-colored walls. But I can see them almost all the time. Also, sometimes in the dark I'll see something /similar/, yet not quite. It's like this /insanely/ hyper energy moving around my room at night. It's silverish as well. I dunno...has anyone else seen this last bit I've described?

P.S.

Mistreena: I'm still rather shocked that we've had pretty much the same experience. I find this truly bizarre...yet...not, if you know what I mean.

I have to admit, I'm prone to believe it's something significant. It seems to me that if it was something so common, that more people should have seen it and questioned it, and also that experts would have a solid definition of it rather than a lot of wishy washy theories that don't agree with each other.

One more thing to admit... I used to watch them a lot on my trampoline too sweatdrop

lol I'm glad I have a trampoline so I can join the energy-watchers ^_^ lol that is super strange though.
Viscerim, I have to agree, you'd think it would be something significant. I wonder about these theories you mention, if there are any good ones...maybe I'll ask my psychology professor when I have psych next term...

Please do. Even if it turns out to be something mundane, it is better than not knowing at all.

I started seeing these things when I was about seven years old, when I asked my mom about it she said I was watching too much tv. rolleyes stare Honestly, I watch a max of two hours a week, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing
PostPosted: Mon Oct 06, 2008 12:12 pm

So now we have...four? ...people who can see them. Seems like it is more common than one would think! Glad to know!
Still, it really is weird. I still think I'm seeing the energy swirling around in the air blaugh

I know it's not the same, but anyone get a similar sensation when it's pitch black? It's not really moving, chaotic circles, but more like a pulsing staticy sponge pattern? Just wondering. I was never very proficient with vision, so I don't know if it's significant or a mundane occurance.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 07, 2008 5:23 pm

These can be a mundane phenomenon - they're quite indiscreetly called floaters, and they drift on the membrane of the eye. I got'em too, and wondered what the hell they were.

I didn't know they were called floaters, but that is one of the differing theories a doctor a told me. But as I mentioned, they don't seem to agree for whatever reason >.<

Out of curiosity, are floaters supposed to be the reason for the night time phenomena, or just those chaotic little circles?
