Sure, you COULD talk about your avatar anywhere on Gaia, but why not do it here in the comfort of people who don't spell it "ppl"?
So!
-Talk about stuff pertaining to your avatars! The good, the bad and the misplaced philosophical.
-Comment on Monthly Collectibles, Evolving Items and rare crap.
-Deconstruct shop updates.

Ahem, anyway! As you can see, I recently came across a Wave Tiara. Ok, actually I blew an embarrassing amount of money at the cash shop to get one. The staff here has to eat too! I love this item. It has a very Legend of Mana, retro SNES game feel to it. And it looks mint-flavored. I'm very happy with it.
Relatively recently, my Avi went blond. I still like the orange hair I had had better, but it was causing a lot of glitches with my avatars having too many colors. BAH. And I still can't use the Horns of the Dragon Queen 'cause it conflicts with the bangs of their hairstyle too D:.
If you grabbed a coocoon from the Cash Shop, it's probably not going to evolve any time soon. The artist attached to it is swamped apparently. Woe.

I created my avi to look like a character in my current story, so shes got a kind of futuristic, cyberpunk feel to her. My favorite thing about her is her hair and her jacket. And her gun. heart
Is it too much to ask for cooler-looking firearm weapons? I mean, how many freaking swards do we have? They need to create fantasy/sci-fi firearm weapons. I'd buy the crap out of that.

I was wondering where you got your avi idea from. It's very slick and not too crowded ^^. UNLIKE 98% OF THE AVIS ON GAIA XD.

I know, right? I don't like it when I can't tell where the avi is because there's too much crap piled on top of it. stare
And thank you, btw! I'm gearing up and saving my gold to create another character from the story, but so far, I haven't been able to put any clothing together that looks like her. I'm stumped, but I'm still looking, there has to be a match somewhere! XD
On a different note, was cool with the mint-flavored Wave Tiara! It looks way good! I've never spent any actual money on Gaia, are the cash items actually worth it?

I would just like to say that I have hit a sort of roadblock so far as creating avatars is concerned. I used to be able to plug out a few new designs a week. But now? I can't, for the life of me, think of anything interesting.
And I can't decide if it's because Gaia items are starting to disinterest me, or if I'm just being stupid.

Oooh! New character ^^. Hopefully, the shops will update soon with useful things for him/her/em.
I'll wear the wave tiara again soon! But I just ended up with so much fun stuff lately I had to change it up a bit (I try to do this on Friday).
The EIs are worth it at least. And a lot more awesome than they were when they last year at this time! You can get a lot more out of them. And you can make boatloads of gold off 'em! BOATLOADS.
(Buy first generation > sit on it until it's almost finished evolving > sell it > buy more recent model + lots of other stuff (including more EIs if you want) > watch it evolve again!)
I had wagered my Inari's was almost done a few weeks ago but it kept going, so it looks like I might get to do this twice. HEE!
Deathscythe (aka best Gundam evar)- why don't you try making up a little story to go with your avi? Mine this week is entitled: "Ohshit I broke it!" XD.

Once I get the black coat I want so much (both in real life and on Gaia), my Avi will be a regular classical centaur with a monkey and owl. It relates to my MC a bit, considering he's very formal. But I just can't bring myself to replace the owl with a bowler hat.

My sn actually means "Red Jeweled" in Tolkein's Elvish (OMG NRD TIEM YAAYYY) which, in turn, means my avi only wears red. This of course isn't really true, but I try for it most of the time anyway. Right now I'm doing an exceptional job, actually, so I'm pretty excited. smile (Originally I wanted the SN Ninquelote, which would have = wearing only teh white)
OKAY ALSO WTF HOW CUTE ARE GRAMSTERS?! I have a little *cough* -obsession- with zombies, so right away, as soon as I joined Gaia, grunnies caught my attention. I'd missed the G corp story line, though (ALAS, I will never get over that) and I had to wait a couple years before grunnies were made available as accessories, but you can bet as soon as I saw them, I BOUGHT THE HELL OUT OF THEM. You can see I did the same thing when I discovered gramsters.

Ahaha XD. I like zombie-anything. I can't wait for my Furugasa to finish~. It's gonna get zombie-tastic over here.
I think I'm going to have to get the Fallen Wish. It's the same artist as my moon and I LOVE THE HELL out of my moon ^^.

She's a total bad-a**, if you can't tell my her fiery red hair or the way she carries her gun. She was fun to put together. The biggest problem was the jacket. I've been using the same one because all the futuristic stuff they came out with isn't bad-a**, it's corny. crying

Sugar! YOU LOOK SO FABULOUS. Love the red hair with the green corset.
I too was somewhat let down by the supposed space goodness. I mean REALLY. Nice boots and headsets? We already had those~!
They're just going to have to do a part two D:.
