 The jungle nights where getting longer and cooler. The night sky was clear to let the dazzling show of stars be seen. It lite up the dark tree tops and showed something out of place. Something that was hot pink. Something that was watching the nights sky for a shooting star.

 Something else was in the tree tops, something that blended in rather well with the darkness of the night. Eros moved casually through the branches, bored and wanting to make use of his...talents. Bright colors, out of place in the treetops, caught his eyes. He quietly moved closer. There was a pretty little maned girl, watching the skies, a perfect atmosphere for some flirting. He moved to a branch a few feet away before addressing her in a low voice. "Good evening Miss."

The Tokoro had been gazing at the starry nights sky for what felt like ages. She just needed to see one shooting star, just one. She saw them all the time before so why couldn't she see one now. She was so engrossed in the sky that she wasn't in touch with any of her other senses. So when she heard a voice from behind her she jump a good few feet in the air. She clung to the tree's trunk for dear live, so she wouldn't fall to her death. She turned her head around looking for the owner of the voice.

Eros rather enjoyed catching people off guard, if you could just keep them off guard you had them in a defensive position. However, if you gave them time to get their shields up it was much hard to get them back to that startled state. Now was the time to move in.
He jumped onto her branch, making sure to...accidentally...touch her as he gained his balance, breaking her personal bubble. "I didn't mean to startle you darling, I just wanted to get better acquainted with you." He gave her a slow smile.

The first thing she saw before she heard the voice again was two crimson hues. The hair at the base of her neck stood on end in react to the site. It touched her and caused a shiver to rolled down her spine. The figure smiled at her and she clinched her jaw. It was to close for comfort, she didn't know what it really wanted and in the shade of the tree it was hard to see what it really was but she could tell by the tone of voice that it belonged to a male.
She let go of the tree's trunk but kept one paw on it just encase she needed to make a fast escape. She stared at it and still said nothing. She was still too shocked to say anything at all.

He knew he had her unbalanced so he moved just a bit closer, leaning in, the whole time keeping his crimson eyes fastened firmly on her own light prbs. "What's wrong dearest, there's nothing to be frightened of here. You never know, I could be one of your most...pleasurable...acquaintances. I think that if we got to know each other a little...better you'd come to thoroughly enjoy me." He lazily flicked his tail forward, brushing her paw.

That did it, that was her braking point, her slap back to reality. Just who did this guy think he was!? He was no one to her or no one that she'd want to know. She took her paw off the tree and without really thinking she shoved him away from her. "Just what are you doing!? I don't even know you!" She clinched her jaw together and pulled her ears back. She did not look happy. "Stay out of my space."

Drat...she was being herself. No one knew better than his mother at how to look innocent, and he had learned everything from her. Now he put all those skills to good use. He allowed an innocent pouting look to cross his face.
"I was just trying to be your friend..." He rubbed at the spot where she had pushed him, trying to make her feel guilty. "Its just been so quiet lately...I wanted to have someone to talk to." As he spoke he was inching back to where he had been, pushing on her personal bubble.

This Tokoro wasn't buying any of it. "Step back now before you lose a paw. I'm waring you." Her eyes narrowed on his paws, she wasn't kidding. She was no fool, her papa had seen to that and may have done his job to well. She never got close to boys, always thinking the worst of them. Sure there where a some out there that broke the mold but so far she only met a paw full. "You never even asked for my name and you want to be all buddy buddy?"

Eros stopped, but while he didn't move forward he certainly didn't move back either. "Oh how bad of me, with all of this confusion I did forget." He settled down, stretching his body a bit more than one normally would so that it would appear at its best. "My name is Eros, what's yours?" he said sweetly. He hoped she would respond to this...he needed to hurry up and figure out her type, his dignity as a stripper depended on it.

She eyed him warily. Hey hues focusing in on his wings that she once just notice. So running was no long a good option. "Anemone." She said flatly. She watched him carefully trying to figure out just what this guy was playing at.

Women could be so difficult sometimes. "Anemone...Anemone...thats a lovely name." He put a slight drawl to his words. Noticing that she was eyeing his wings he began to stroke one lightly, preening a feather here and drawing designs there with his paw. If you could mesmerize the customer, get them to focus that also helped to get them to drop their guard.

"Glad you think so. Shame about yours though." That last bit slipped out. She slapped a paw over her mouth, never was she so outwardly rude before. This guy was pushing her buttons. She looked at him playing around with his wings well she tried to recover.

A muscle in Eros' jaw twitched. "I'm sorry if my name offends you." He answered curtly, a bit miffed. He knew he shouldn't let anything bother him, as a stripper one had to push their feelings aside, but that was just mean. He suddenly realized he had stopped moving his paw and with a sigh stopped altogether. "Well if you just want to be alone..." he was trying to use guilt still, but if she wanted him to leave he wasn't sure what his other options were at this point.

Anemone paw dropped from her mouth. "It doesn't offend me. It just doesn't tickle my fiance." She told him with a sigh. Why was she trying to make him feel better when he was being so creepy before. This male was the oddest one she had ever met and bet he would always be the oddest. She turned her head back up towards the night sky and gazed at the stars with glittering eyes. "I'd like that."
