I'm not sure why, but a few years ago I decided I wanted the best slicer ever! Even though I hate using slicers... it's more of a novelty to be honest. So every now and then I go find a Hildetorr with my redria.
About 30 'Torrs later, I have enough monomates and meseta to supply ....
something very large! xd Not. Having. luck.
What rares just don't seem to appear for you?

Kamui, from Temple Hildetor when my main was a Viridia.
My Agito hunt isn't going super well. But I've only managed to kill 11 Pal Rappies. It is a 1/22 drop rate... yeah.

I've got a Redria... FOnewearl so that's different...
I've done Sil Dragon at least 30 times, still no Holy Ray (bluefull), my thought here is to get a rifle a HUmar can equip, so East & West Towers go a little more smoothly. Those annoying as anything Mericarols.

Those annoying as anything Mericarols. my Redria is a HuCast so yeah, lol

any type of FO staff can't be equipped by Hunters right?

As for staffs, I do think there are some that are equipeble by all.
Stuff you get from easter eggs, lanterns or xmas gifts are usually equipible by all classes.

GOT IT! Magic Stone "Iritista"
I used it on a slicer with 50% hit. It is better than I could have imagined. Normal-Special-Special combo gives you time to do just about anything.
It's like a confuse trap for fleshies!
