So about 2 weeks ago I went to Wallgreens to pick up some batteries for my Wii-mote and some apple juice. I always check out their toy selection, because they usually carry some pretty decent toys and/or Pokemon cards and I collect both of those on a semi-regular bases.
They've been carrying the Jungle Fury toys for the past 4 months or so, and that week, I finally saw my first chase figures, face to face! Staring me in the face was America's Lord Zed! I checked behind him, and got to the real prize, The White Ranger. I only really had money for one or the other, so I picked the White Ranger, and ran home with juice, batteries, and a sweet action figure.
Today I went for pencils and milk and decided to check to see if Zed was still around. Right in front, plain as day was the Gold Ranger! What luck?! I snatched him up and now they both hang lovingly on my wall, a completed chase series set of two.
If anyone is having troubles find chase figures, my reccomendation is to check oddball places, where toys are sold, but not frequently thought of. Places like groceries chains, drug stores, large gas stations, that sort of thing.
I'm still on the look out for my main ranger, Green Ranger. Hopefully I'll get my hands on one soon!
