I wrote this some time ago, but as it's not getting any reviews on my site, I figured I would post it here.

SONG FOR BANE

Angels are ugly and daemons are cute.
Everything's clearer when I think in you.
Left by the one that I cared for the most,
I just heard your voice! no, it's only a ghost.
I sit here alone, my wings are broken.
Words I should have said were left unspoken.
"Come back!" I call, but there's no one to hear.
Being left alone is my greatest fear,
A fear you have now made reality.
I cry in the dark, and there's no one to see.
But your goodbye still echoes in this room,
A chamber that I still know as love's tomb.

Sounds like you went through a really rought break up! Your opening line line really caught my attention, and I was expecting you to follow through a bit more with opposites. It's got a very smooth flow to it, and the simplicity really adds to it. 3nodding

Yeah...it was pretty rough... Amazingly, we're still good friends. I've been supportive of him through a few relationships, and he was there for me when someone I really loved told me they were getting married and basically threw my heart on the floor and stepped on it. The opening line just popped into my head at one point...I wrote it down but never knew where to go with it. But anyway, thank you for commenting, and I'm going to stop rambling now. xp
