Twenty-nine years after the incident; Merry and Oscar have had two children, having named them after Cain and Jezebel. Cain Christopher, their oldest son, and Jezebel Anne, their youngest daughter. Murders have happened throughout the past two years, known as the Bathory Murders after their likeness of Elizabeth Bathory's bloodshed, a true Hargreaves heir appears, and another mystery unrolls.

History; The b*****d child of Jezebel Disraeli, he was names after his assistant Cassian when he became the child's godfather in his dying days. He works as a servant in the restored Hargreaves Manor.
