This thread is here for you to debate or simply discuss your opinions, views, or feelings on being, or just about, gays, lesbians, transsexuals, bisexuals, or anything related.

Keep in thought that this guild is open-minded and will not judge any individual based on their sexual preferences or way of life. That means, in turn, we will expect the same from its members.

Also, this thread is in the mature section for a reason.
Be mature about this and follow the rules.

Flaming or inexcusable gay-bashing will not be tolerated. [Just so you know.]

This thread is now open for discussion.

food for thought {tee hee, what an odd phrase :] }~
what if in a world, everybody was automactically
considered gay, and you were discriminated because
you were straight.. ?

wouldn'tthe hetrosexuals feel hated if we called
stupid things 'straight'.

that movie was so straight!

y'know? i was thinking about that today..

Personally, I support anything gay.
I am bisexual.
To be honest.. I used to despise anything gay related and was once afraid of them, just like my semi-narrow minded family is. I was brainwashed, in a sense.
I stepped out of my little box and discovered a much happier place. I'm glad I did. And because I made such a big leap, I feel like I'm an actual individual. I feel I can think for myself and have a say so in my life.
I feel that homophobes are narrow-minded in many ways. In my opinion, if they are strict and can't be lenient towards a certain group of people, they are probably going to act the same way with other things. It's just what I see on the outside.
Now.. nobody in my family knows about my sexual preference, and I doubt I can ever get the courage to tell them. I think the reason for that is the way they would disown me if they knew the truth. I'm afraid to come clean about a lot of stuff with my family.

MATE. FEED.

'Tis bi.

And I didn't really know what it was or even about it until I was like 9.
And that's pretty much when I discovered it.

I've always been conscious of what gay was.
When I was younger and had Barbies, I would have the girls together and didn't find a problem with it. Likewise with the boys.
I actually laugh looking back on it and how my sister was like "Ken doesn't kiss Noel!"

Now I'm 17 and I know a lot more and I feel I accepted it when I was younger. I get angry whenever my family says "fagot" or "that's gay."
I tell them that it bothers me but they don't know why it bothers me so much.

i actually looked it up once
and i believe 'f*****t' or 'f**' means
a bundle of sticks, or something to that effect.
and 'queer' means odd, i think.

but you know people mean' gay' or 'stupid'
when they say those two.

I hate that.
I hate that straight people think they're normal because they like the opposite sex.
I hate that we get bashed even when we don't flaunt our sexuality.
It drives me up a ******** wall. stare
I have a bisexual friend who was harassed on the bus I used to ride because of his sexual preference and it almost resulted in a fight.
I also can't STAND girls who freak out when they find out you're into girls as well as guys and they're like "omfg, she's gay!"
Sometimes I just want to say "b***h, please... just because I like girls doesn't mean I want you. GET OVER YOURSELF."

ARRRGH.

My school is full of narrow-minded hill billies.

I went around school calling a pile of sticks a f*****t...
XD

I'm Bisexual and proud!
But sometimes I feel selfish
I have best of both worlds
and its so easy for me to find a partner <3

it's liek i said, gays must have cooties or something.

Apparently there was some man, I don't know if he was a doctor or something, but he was on a talk show I believe saying that being gay was a mental illness.
WHAT THE HELL????

I think some people are too full of themselves.
That guy needs to seek mental attention.
Quickly.

I don't see how liking somebody of the opposite sex could be considered an illness.

are you serious?
some narrow-minded self-centered jackass actually said that?

oh, did you hear about portia and ellen getting married?
she showed some clips from it and i'm so happy for them.
:]

what a wonderful wedding, they had, too. there were a lot of great photos.

Yup.
Heard it over the radio one day.
It infuriated me.
He'll get his.
3nodding

I heard she got married, but I haven't seen the pictures.
Who is Portia again?
Isn't she a model?
I'm not sure.

i'm not sure what she does, but she has long blond hair.
and she's gorgeous.
you should prolly google it, though.
or go to ellen.warnerbros.com- at least i think that's
what her website is. i remembering googling it
and seeing that out of the corner of my eye.

anyways, i'm almmoost done with yet another splendid
book by the talented ellen wittlinger. 'heart on my sleeve'.
it's a series of emails and letters sent back and forth
between none other than a series of people! the main character,
chloe, is going off to college soon, and yes, here comes a spolier-
her sister ends up being a lesbian. =D i know, i know, but whenever
i find a book with someone who's gay in it, i FREAK OUT with
joy. it just excites me. i can never find one at the library,
but gay people will sneak into a lot of my books without me
even KNOWING there would be anyone gay in it.

tis bi♥
and i havn't really told anybody except Solar
[and all of you now i guess]
but its not that i'm not proud,
i just really don't quite find the need to flaunt my bi-ness.
and i get enough shizz as it is with my "emo-ness".
because appearently i have cooties for being emo and if they found out
i was bi then i swear, someone at school would bring a gun to school and hunt me as if i were an animal [which i'm against, shooting animals, *shame shame*]
and i cannot bear the thought of people calling you "gay or lesbian" if you're just "bi" >.>
same thing if you were emo, then people automatically call you lesbian or bi cause they think that just because your emo then that realates to being bi/gay/lesbian, etc.
obviously, i'm ~NOT~ against bi/gay/lesbian/pansexuals/transexuals/transgenders/etc.
>.>
but, yes...back on subject...i guess i was on subject...[i've got Solar here♥ and she's spotting out my spelling mistakes, etc. and the fact that i guess i ~am~ still on subject]
^_^
