Hmm...
I would like to think that Blue Bell should grow some Blue Bell Berries. The berries would be harvested in the fall and when ripe, they look like blue bells. They taste like a mix of Strawberries and raspberries. Kind of sweet, but tangy. And after tasting one, you feel like dancing. Its like your body is suddenly filled with song.

Yes and that could be how the town/island got its name

Since we are talking about interesting autumn crops, how about Blue Bell village grows an abundance of Blue Mist Flowers. These flowers might be rare in Flower Bud village, but they are fortunate to even have one per day in the autumn.
The bees of Blue Bell Village are very... uh... prideful when it comes to where they pollinate flowers. Blue Bell Village is where they like to spawn the blue mist flowers because they are such a sweet smelling flower.
Unfortunately, this also has a negative side effect to these bees. Some bees that love the taste of the nectar of these flowers too much, have a case of Blue Moon Fever, where they fly to other towns and spread their seeds. Most bees die on the trip to other towns.
Trading a blue mist flower, however, is something of a romantic gesture. Like the Blue feather in most Harvest moon villages, a Blue mist petal is a sign of eternal love in Blue Bell Village.
Kurtis Woodsman who resides in Flower Bud Village was actually born in Blue Bell. His cold-like attitude is a direct result of having to be forced to move from Blue Bell village due to funding of his parents at the time.
Joe Woodsman (Kurt's younger brother), on the other hand was born in Sugar-town Village, the location where the game Save the Homeland takes place. For this reason, Joe is very lovable and he is likely the best husband for any woman. He is very kind and devoted. Speaking for Joe, I think that Sugar Canes should be another crop, but... it grows in Winter and tastes like mints! Its one of the hardier crops and one of the very few that can grow in the winter time. No plowing is required to spread these seeds and they grow in abundance. Harvest them before Christmas though.
Those are my suggestions for crops in Blue Bell.

Nice! And along with Sugar canes, how about Snow Peas are a winter crop for the village?

Yes, both are fabulous ideas. Since we have some residents from other parts of Planet Hamster, we should perhaps some exotic plants as well. Maybe the Hylian rose could be one and it only grows on Ordon ranch.
The properties of this flower can be used like a revival herb. For this reason, the original Harvest Goddess doesn't like the flower to grow anywhere but on the ranch. It would fetch a high price for it holds the power of eternal life, but at the same time, it would also draw in the high-end criminals. This plant would bring both pleasure and pain to the village.
Another exotic crop that could grow would be the Southtown Chili pepper. A crop so hot that it is only used to treat hypothermia. It also seems to attract the same type of two headed monster plants like Tartan was since they can mix the peppers with another seed to produce all-purpose weather seeds from normal ones.
Then we should get shipments from a dog/human cross named Zynga that are weird farmville tree seeds. It is Zynga's hopes that Blue Bell village grows exponentially since he heard that a dedicated farmer that works his lands was in Blue Bell. These seeds include Yarn trees, bubble gum trees, and minty trees.

Oh ho ho, I love those ideas. This way we can improve Dante's seed shop.
I think, Dee, we have enough seed ideas. Maybe we can work on a different aspect now.
