A war torn land is all that remains of your country, the enemy is from your country, the heroes as well. Ten years of terror and nightmares to all sides of the war, including the civilians. Both sides now have talked of peace but at what cost? No one trusts anyone, but do you blame them? Civil war is 100% causalities of that country, but in the calm of peace there is still war, there is terror, but there is love, and there is hope. Combatants on both sides, and the civilians are trying to rebuild while there is still bombs going off all around them.

Who are you in this game of war? Will you rise to power as the government defending its harmony? Are you the rebels who believe the system is corrupt? Or are you a scared civilian trying to survive in this war?

RULES

1. I am in charge, I don't like being god but I will strike down anyone who doesn't obey the rules. I do reserve the right to add helpers here.
2. Follow the Gaia ToS and the rules set down by the guild.
3. No godmodding, you can't not get dodge all the time. Likewise you can not hit every time. This can slide slightly on NPCs but if you face another player, I might intercede and call for dice commands. Although characters can die! But don't worry you can create new ones don't worry and I'll let you know if they are close to death!
4. No chatspeak. Let’s all stick with proper English, please. Try to avoid typos.
5. OOC statements should be short, if we need a lot I'll make a seperate topic for it.
6. No one-sentence posts. This one’s important.
This is supposed to be advanced. I'm expecting at least one paragraph per post. That's at least five sentences. If you're having trouble stretching it I understand, its rough just OOC it and I'll let some of it slide for at least 3-6 posts before I start sending troops to make you stretch your posts.
7. Violence, swearing, and romance should all abide by the ToS/Guild rules. I will allow a little more of each of these, but if its Frank Miller of blood, I'll cut you off, if I see clear signs of sex unless its really eased in I'll send troops to shoot your characters.
8. You are all humans period, no cyborgs, or surprises like that.
9. All profiles must be PMed to Noble_Lance with the following subject: I'm ready to survive, if it isn't I'll delete it instantly, this is to see who is paying attention.
10. If you have any questions/comments/criticisms about the previous rules, I encourage you to read rule #1 once more before you ask any questions, or make any suggestions here or via PM.
11. You can only have not onebutTwo characters, however they must be at least one civilian and one on a waring side, or two civilians.
12. Try to avoid making the same type of character as someone else at the beginning if you are on a waring side.
13. I reserve the rights to change anything in the rules but I will make an announcement and add a black addition to the words to show the updates.

For this there won't be that many classes of soldiers, but I will add more and give anyone afterwords to change if they so choose. And no the picture above is a joke no one will have stuff like that.

Classes:

General: Only 1 per side
Generals are the highest ranking officers in the game. They can command armies(and a few of the lower ranking characters) from either a radio at a safe distance or on the battlefield themselves. Although, its up to the character to obey the General but there may be problems for them later on. Depending on the type of general their battle effectiveness can vary, and with their shiny uniforms are prone to getting shot most often by snipers.

Majors: 2 per side
Majors are in a sense battlefield generals, most of the time they've seen more action than a general and soldiers tend to listen to them more. Majors however still have to listen to generals, but majors can do several things such as give troops breaks, R&R days, etc. They are battle hardy and great on the battlefield but are similar to generals but on a smaller scale.

Mortar and Demolition Expert: 1 per side
While these two jobs usually are never together you are among an elite few. MDEs are a variation of both great range with the right spotter and can be as lethal as an army with the right trap placement and the home court advantage. Although at mid range they are use and small arms is there only defense against an attack. They must tread lightly outside their field of expertise.

Medics: Unlimited both sides
The second hardest workers on and the hardest workers off the battlefield. They have to deal with the wounded and are the easiest targets to pick off besides the front line soldiers due to their helmet colors and the fact that they wear the least amount of armor but they have the best chance to save anyone's lives. They are much like MDEs and their only survival is small arms

Soldiers: Unlimited both sides
The mostly commonly killed members of the battlefield on either side, they have a wide variety of gun knowledge and depending on the weapon and gear they may or may not be the greatest of survivors. However, off the battlefield they can probably blend in the most with enemies given a uniform change.

Civilians: Unlimited, no side but can help the soldiers if so choosing.
The victims of war, they are from the common man to the highest man, they are everyone in a village and more. They can choose to aid a soldier in anyway, its up to them really.
