Strangers in a New World [Mixed Genres] [A]

Hello, and welcome to Strangers in a New World. This roleplay is based on a story that I have recently started writing. I am going for a story that has something for everyone, a combination of many different genres. Everyone has the own writing specialty, so in order to create an entertaining tale of mixed genres, I decided to have a seperate version of the story, in which others can contribute with their own individual style. In other words, a rp. I will be using this for inspiration for Strangers, and likewise, I will use ideas from my story in this rp. In case you want to read Strangers, it should be up in the dump tank sub-forum before too long. I would like to make it clear that the main characters ((played by me)) will NOT be any more important than anyone else's character or characters.

Feel free to give suggestions and make comments about anything that you wish to.

As far as the plot, it will start with the simple idea of a Japanese family moving to America for various reasons. Of course, some strange things are sure to happen. Drama, action, horror, romance, science fiction and practically everything else awaits! Don't worry, I already have some elements for a plot worked out, so it is not as random and pointless as it first sounds.

Rules

5. No excesseive gore, though

8. No flaming, contact me through PMs about all problems with other RPers
9. No killing other peoples' characters without permission.
10. If you already have a character or characters, feel free to create a new one at any time
11. You may have as many characters as you wish at one time.
12. Three strikes, you're out.
13. I reserve the right to add rules as I see fit.
14. When sending me your character, title it 'A Whole New World'.
15. Include a ninja somewhere in the PM.
16. Posts should be at least a paragraph in length.

((Though I intend to have some romance, and sexuality is part of the skeleton, I do not want everyone confessing their love for each other on the third page. You are welcome to have romantic moments, but please try to make them subtle until the story is a lot farther since the moment the two involved characters first met.
