Hey!
So, I know I do this from time to time, as does Jocie and Ally. Just going about your normal and peaceful life, and one day while listening to your iPod, BAM, you find a song that reminds you of a character you've either played or are currently playing that you just have to share.
Well, share them here! Bonus points if you can actually link to the song!
I'd go first, but so sleepy right now!
P.S.: Not all of us played in the same game together, so give some back story as to who the character was and why you chose that song! We all like to talk about this stuff, so it shouldn't be too difficult to drag it out of you!

Tricking people out of there money was his life before Odin showed up. He joined with his group and everything was crazy, his world and the wolrd of the Titan war collided. Edward is an elven rogue/assassin who killed many people, from bums on the street to a king. He had nightmares about his family and his blood soaked brother standing over them

I do this with many of the characters I make smile  Raab Merana - Heartache Every Moment (Vampire) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEh91PnOH7s&feature=relatedA Ventrue brain/tank who started out as a low level cleaner for the Camarilla then later became one of the major leaders of the Neftali(sp?). I picked this song because he lived from the start of the game to the last one, even living on after it. In his long life he has lost friends and people close to him, over and over and over..."Heartache every moment, from the start till the end." At least that line makes a lot of sense for this character. Kaiox - Hemoglobin (Gaia Online: Organization XIII) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7krcAA9sD0(The video is horrible, but there aren't many with the song out there XD) Kaiox, once know as Aiok, is a freelance assassin killing people sometimes out of sheer bordom. He was killed and brought back as a nobody, his name changing from Aiok to Kaiox and granting him the ability of poison. The song suits him because nobody's are considered immortal and what better song then one used for immortal assassins? It's the Assamite(sp?) theme song on the soundtrack. Kite Fenix - I Need to Know (Scion) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KiBZn6aXecKite Fenix, now known as Xitkenfie the God of Knowledge and Inovation, spent most of his life learning new things. Of the band he travels with his has the most intelligence and likes finding out new things.  Ryler Laidon - Headstrong (BESM Final Fantasy setting) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC3bAQNs18kRyler is considered the "brash hero" of the group he is with. He is a young rat kid (Final Fantasy based game, what ever Freya's race is) who uses his feet to fight and will never back down from a fight, even if it's against someone as skilled as Sephiroth. Ryler is very headstrong, the reason why I picked this song for him.  Kurama Xiloscient - It Doesn't Matter (D&D) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTke7eiWm7QAn elvan monk born and raised in a monestary. Didn't have much of a back story for him as it was one of my first D&D characters, but he didn't mind doing anything as long as he didn't break the law and as long as he was fighting someone or something. Didn't matter who's side he was on as long as his fist or foot was hitting something.  Shanna Vickers - I Stand Alone (Scion) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3_aAmZlN4sShanna is the scion of Posidon and a skater chick. Being an albino caused many kids to make fun of her while at school. This made her not want to work with them, soon finding that she rather enjoyed doing things by herself. Right now she is being forced to work with other scions, but anytime she can she does things on her own.  Valder "Fox" Deing - My Immortal (Champions) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxQrPXPSVhQFox is one of the many heros that protected his home city. (Can't remember the name of it the place >.<) Lost his parents to a psycho named Acidshock and now protects his younger sister. Recently found documents that hint at him being some type of genetic experiment rather then naturally born, his father apperently being the lead scientist. Only reason I chose this song is because some of the lines fit for his family members. "If you have to leave I wish you would just leave..." And the line after that is about his father after finding those documents, the chorus more talking about his sister, and so on.  Corneil "Red" Redfern - Maple Gunman (Serenity) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtCGhJBX_dERed is the pilot of the Apollo's Eclipse, his only smarts coming in when it comes to flying ships. Dumb as a door nail he will sometimes blurt out stupid things or do idiotic stuff. The song Maple Gunman is about being a man, which Red does at times to make up for being really stupid.  Valder Deing - Empty Walls (BESM Post Apocalyptic setting) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZSKvSz1roQA young boy who was actually a failed experiment and who lost his memory. Again another character I made that didn't have much of a backstory. I picked this song mainly because of the time period the game was set it, where the USA was basically a nuclear waste dump.  Ma'Zhrun - Squall (BESM Elder scrolls setting) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fVBRHvRLk8A Khajiit born into a family of theives. As much as they tried to train him in slight of hand he just couldn't bring himself to steal from anyone. His father and two older sisters abused him due to this. A high elf friend of his talked him into running away from them at a young age and when he got older he spent most of his days as a freelance knight. Honestly I forget why I picked this song...XD  Zhuge Saru - Scars of Time (BESM Dynasty Warriors setting) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laMvJf9UNdcA member of the Zhuge family and a young judge apprentice. Though a skilled fighter, he is even more knowledgable with the law. One of the most all around characters I've ever made, being great at both combat and non-combat situations. I picked this song because it starts off soft, his law side, then gets fast, his action side. Also the song is just cool! I have more and will post them later biggrin I'll make avatars for characters that don't have them yet and for ones I'll post later smile Sorry for any misspellsing I suck at that.

Well, I only noticed one misspelling. The group that took over the Camarilla was called the Nephtali. But your spelling was damn close. Also, the city in the Campions game was Center City. I went really generic.

I think I'm going to start going into MMO characters that I rp XD  Lisa Deing - D-Technolife (City of Heroes, Katana/Fiery Aura Scrapper) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTEORonjUuQThis is an alternate story of what's going on with Dan's Champions game. In this one Valder's dead as well and Lisa took up her brother's sword and started fighting in his place as a hero of Paragon City. She recently mutated into a full on cat person, rather then from Dan's game where she just had cat ears and a tail. Her mutant ability is fire control, using it to protect herself when she fights.  Masquerading-Facade - Reflection (City of Heroes, Illusion/Sonic Controler) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A_Rl8aQxIIMasquerading-Facade, real name Mia Burnside, uses illusions to confuse enemies and mask her true form in social situations. Not much to this character really. Picked this song because she hides her true self behind illusions almost constantly.  Grey Mizer - Smile Ichiban Ii Onna (City of Heroes, Sonic/Energy Blaster) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H2TEIRNNxkTeenage mutant from Canada, he's a dork, ladies man, and popular kid rolled into one. Moved from Canada to Paragon City when his mutation hit him, joining with a school for mutants to learn to control his sonic ability. Cannot talk without emiting sonic energy. Picked this song because for some weird reason, women just kinda gravitate to him. XD Kanjo no Oni - GO! (Fighting-Dreamers) (City of Villians, Dark/Ninjitsu Stalker) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of0yUiRxcd0A lizard man who loves to cause mayhem. He's do just about any job as long as he doesn't have to kill people or harm children, even villians have standards. Born to Dr. Martin Caruso he was experimented on when his mutation took place, causing him to freak out and destroy his father's lab and leave. I picked this song because he tries to modivate villians to just have fun with what they do. Robotic Resurrection - Light's Theme (City of Villians, Robot/Force Field Mastermind) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrH_dzdyWawA war vet who fought against Statesman, Judas Brown's been locked up in the Zig for quite a while. Still working on this character, but picture a really old black man with a pulse riffel who can control metal and put life into inanimate objects (Rp'ed as forming his robots from random metal around, so far got Scrap Metal and Car Parts! biggrin ) Chose this song because he's always thinking of how to outdo his opponents, just like Light. Sound Strike - Alumina (City of Villians, Sonic/Storm Corruptor) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pllqLTL3fxESarah Lombardi, aka Souns Strike, is a mutant with a god complex. Fully belives that mutants are the superior race and will stop at nothing to prove her point. Joined a mutant supremacy group in hopes to become a goddess of the new world. Beraylor Shadowbane - Live and Learn (Everquest, Vah Shir Warrior) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9zZus_1_agA Vah Shir warrior who's only goal is to find the one who killed his mother and kill him. One of my only characters who I wrote a story for from his ENTIRE childhood up until he joined The Crimson Scribes, a guild who speciaizes in finding people and things through documentation.

He is new to the superhero thing and to cover for his fighting dex, he joined his schools dance team and is a member of the boy band called The Elements. Cyric Strangis(Scion)- Empty Chairs at Empty Tables  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJnjcX8skXkCyric is a young preacher from Las Vagas and is the Scion of Lucifer. He was excommunicated after an incadent and is now being hunted. He regrets being the only one left from what happened and longs for a way to repent.

   Xeralia - Glass Skin (Tri-stat, Space Opera!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfXYiHGM4MEOutfit 1 is her usual jumpsuit. She is almost constantly wearing one of them, changing color often. Outfit 2 is a dress of hers which she only wears on special events, such as a date or a celebration Outfit 3 is the best I could come up with for Ixtli ceremonial(sp?) garb. Boj Dria'Xeralia, otherwise known as Xeralia, is an Ixtli banished from her homeworld by her own father for using underhanded tactics in combat. Since her banishment she has been wondering around looking for a place for herself, somewhat finding it with a group of people who she was kidnapped with on an alian ship.
