Here you'll meet up with the ever active, nature loving Prof. Birch. He's been spending his time checking on the environment, going on expiditions, studying the crazy pokemon, all that good stuff. He's very busy so you'll be lucky to get him to stay still long enough to get one of the Hoenn starter pokemon. (Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip)
