I was pretty pissed off at first, but then I realised what a good twist it made to the book.
I especially liked Bellas reaction to Jacob's nickname for Renesmee though:
'You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?'

While I'm a sucker for happy endings, I didn't really like that he imprinted.
The book seemed to set up that not everything is left to fate...like falling in love by imprinting isn't the only way to find love. So when he did imprint, I kinda thought, "Well, there goes that message."
And that reaction of Bella's was priceless. Xp

well i do like jacob but not as much as edwrd
i was gonna chnage my username to renemee_culled until i found out jacob started imprinting on her
i like jacob but not that that so i wouldnt want to be in love with him so... yea
and i agree it made a very good twist in the book

The only reason worth having Jacob imprint on Renesmee (in my opinion) is to read about Bella's reaction. xd That's about it. I think Jacob should've been allowed to go off and find someone he chose to love out of his own freewill so I agree with Mouzi on that. Now he's still stuck hanging around vampires...

It didn't totally add up, the way Stephanie Meyer told it seemed like Jacob went back to the Cullens house because he wanted to check on Bella, I actually think a more interesting twist would be that Jacob imprinted on Bella after she had her baby...

I'm glad Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. The way things were going, it seemed to me that all of the wolves would imprint on someone eventually given that they were in the right place at the right time. And Jake wanted to stay with Bella because he loved her, even if most of it was just the unborn Renesmee. He still loves her as a friend and would probably still hang around her and her vampire family, even if he hadn't imprinted on her daughter.
Bella's reaction really was funny. It had me falling out of my chair laughing. My parents were giving me really funny looks when I finally managed to pull my forehead off of the carpet. The kind of look that asks if their daughter finally needs to go to the funny farm.

I saw it coming. I knew when he went out in the Vanquish (*drools*) and was trying to force himself to imprint that something big was going to happen. And I knew Steph was going to do something to make people not so angry with Jacob anymore. It was the perfect way. Because, more toward the end, I found myself liking Jacob a lot more. Haha.
