Victoria Salvitore__________ Her strangely coloured eyes, now a deep, dark brown without the sun to illuminate their true nature, took in the surprisingly comfortable space for a moment. She then hitched up her bag and headed over to the bed on the right, heaving it up and roughly dumping it on the mattress. She hoped her new roommate wouldn’t mind her choice, after all, she didn’t want to start this new chapter in her life with a fight. Victoria took another deep breath and stretched, raising her arms over her head in an irrevocably childlike movement. She then wandered over to a desk, on which was a piece of paper and a pencil. Her brow furrowed in concentrated curiosity and read the card sitting next to it.
Interesting. She thought, but didn’t pick either of them up, leaving them where they sat on the polished wooden work space. She figured she wasn’t very fussy about decor, only grateful she was away from home and given her own space to grow. She wandered back to her bag on the bed, unzipping it and reaching into the side for her collection of candles. She loved candles. Especially the scented ones, and she knew how to charm them with Craft to avoid any nasty accidents.
Pulling three stout pieces free of their casing, she set them neatly on a crystal plate and placed it beside her bed. Of slightly differing heights, the candles were of pleasing light tones of rose, lilac and cream. She flicked a small amount of psychic power at them, their wicks bursting into instant flame. She placed a Green level shield around them to avoid accidents, but would also stop anyone from touching them, then wandered back over to her belongings. As the light scent of lavender, rosemary and vanilla filled the room, she began the arduous task of unpacking her clothes and supplies.

Victoria Salvitore__________ Victoria brushed her hands off on her skirt and sat exhausted on her now made up bed. Her sheets were rather bold shades of red and black in feminine arachnid patterns on a stark white background. On top of her pillow sat a stuffed doll in the shape of a white tiger. She named this creature Kaelas, as it was modelled after the real life version that lived back at the farm. Of course, it wasn’t a tiger, but a Acerian Cat and had just as much ability with the Craft as she did.
She used craft to put out her candles, gathering up her bag and and getting to her feet. The bangles on her arms jingled as she slung the satchel onto her shoulder and she flicked a black lock of hair from her eyes before crossing to the door. Again, she hoped her choice wasn’t going to disturb her roommate, but quickly put that concern to the back of her mind. For the moment she hoped to explore the campus a little bit before school started. Getting lost was one of her greatest fears.
Her customary smile firmly in place, she opened the door and exited out into the dorm hallway.
