So, decided you want a little squealing brat of your own? And you want to make a thread to document the runt before I snatch them?

Well, see here. First you gotta read through a couple simple guidlines, and if you follow them right, I just might be inclined to drop a brat on your head.

REQUIREMENTS IN A THREAD
Quester Name: (Your screenname)
Guardian Name: (The IC Guardian's name)
Character Desired: (Name of the runt you want)
Character's World: (Name of their original world[story])

Copy and paste the above form into the first post of your quest thread, otherwise it won't be counted as valid. Make sure that your quest thread title is appropriate, too. Example: (Spiffy title) - Legolas; Lord of the Rings

What exactly you put into your thread is entirely up to you, though there are a few things that are required to be in it. Anything besides what's listed below is up to you.
Character Summary
A summary of your character's personality, and a brief history on them and their story/game/movie/etc
Guardian Profile
A brief summary of the guardian you wish to use for the child. Guardians must be approved, since there are some things that simply can't work, or are not allowed because of future metaplots. Most sorts are acceptable, but they must still be run by Satin Regret just to check.
Credit to the creator of the character
Put the name of the person who created your character of choice SOMEWHERE in the thread. You MUST HAVE THIS or your quest WILL NOT COUNT. Example: Lord of the Rings (C) J.R.R. Tolkien. Easy as pie.

Should your quest thread fill all of the specifications, post a request in the approval thread, and Satin will take a look through and give you a stamp of approval 3nodding

NOTE:
If the character you wish to quest for is a twin or a triplet, or something similar(i.e. was born at the exact same time as a sibling), you MUST include that sibling in your quest, or see if you can't find someone interested in questing for that character. It IS possible for one person to quest, and receive, a set of twins, but you'll have to pay double, as well as talk to Satin to see if it's alright. PM the mule for questions.

Just to make it clear what is or isn't allowed. The character must be from a story with an actual plot line, and thus have some sort of time advancement. Something with no plot generally has no character development, so thus is not an acceptable character.

And of course, should you have questions about whether or not a character is acceptable, there is a thread to post ideas to see if it's alright before making a quest. I haven't got everything listed, because I am open to suggestions of any sort. Hell, we've had a child based off of a computer program. So yeah. Just toss ideas into the concept thread.

Types of Characters that are Allowed

Type --- Examples

Live action movies --- Pirates of the Carribean, Dragon Heart
Certain anime movies --- Howl's Moving Castle,
Video games --- Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed
Cartoon shows --- Pokemon(The humans, obviously, and certain pokemon are allowed as well. Ask if you're interested an actual pokemon), Avatar: The Last Airbender
TV shows --- Heros, Supernatural
Novels - Xanth series, Valdemar series
Comic books/Manga --- Batman, D.Gray-Man
Web comics --- If the comic has a plot line, AND you can get permission from the writer, then any work

Types of Characters that are NOT Allowed

Types --- Examples

Certain cartoons --- South Park, the Simpsons
TV shows --- That 70s Show, Scrubs
Video games - Katamari, Warcraft, Metal Gear Solid(Just...No)
Web comics --- Least I Could Do, anything that has no general plot or time advancement
Comic books/Manga --- Yu-gi-oh(This does have a plot, but I refuse to draw it), Zits, generally most high school based romance mangas

NOTE: If you decide you want to do a webcomic, you absolutely MUST GET PERMISSION from the creator of the comic. If it is a published comic, then you don't need to, but if it is a personal one that is only known online, I don't want anyone coming to me saying "So-and-so never asked me for permission!" So yeah. Basically, avoid looking at webcomics, people.
