In my dreams, I often see a city. Sometimes, I don't dream of the same place, but I get the feeling that if I followed a certain road, that city would be right there. Sometimes I can fly in the city, while sometimes I spend the entire day as a child tying to ride my bike to a spot that's special to me. And now that I think of it, much to my horror and intrigue, I think I can place every dream location that was not concrete somewhere in that city, because they cross-reference one another.
Does this seem familiar to anyone else?

I have had dreams that seemed to relate to other dreams, but I cannot remember them now. I rarely remember them, but I remember having a dream or two that followed the dream I'd had the night before. It's really interesting that you can piece them together. Have you ever tried drawing a map of that city, or other drawings of the city? Or tried to figure out what city it was?

Have you read much... Poe? I think it was Poe. In one of his stories, the Protagonist has dreams about visiting a city. Go read it, it's neat.
The idea's a bit Lovecraftian, really... though I suppose Lovecraft was a total Poe fanboy.

What was the name of this work by Poe?
I feel like I wouldn't be able to draw much of a map of the place, because I only explore a little bit of it at a time, and I'm always trying to get to the same spot once I figure out I'm there.
By the way, I was talking to Garret_Strife (new member yay) the other day, and we were comparing details of two seemingly unrelated dreams, and it turns out we dreampt about the same city, and about the same activity going on, only from totally different perspectives. It's exciting.
