So, I want somewhere to rant, and vent, and this seems like a great place! I was a member of the 4th best guild on my server, doing T6 content (my server ******** sucks, not a single horde guild has downed Illidan). And recently our leader has enacted things like "If can't make it to 1 raid every week, its grounds for a gkick" and is always causing really high tensions in raids. Raiding with them started to seem more like a chore than something to do for enjoyment, but something that almost felt like a job away from college. So I was searching to get into the 3rd top guild on my server, until I heard things about them being worse about it, so I decided to join a guild that an RL friend of mine was in. I do raid kara/ZA/gruul's, even if that is shitty. Call me dumb as ******** if you want, but I hated how my guild was turning out, so I left. Thanks for listening to my rant biggrin

Hard to progress if you can't get people to show up! I'd definitely say fun kara/ZA/Gruuls > miserable t6 guild though!

Right, it shouldn't feel like a job but it definitely hurts progression when you can't get the same crew to show up. So I can understand that point of view from the guild leader. So many better ways to get people to want to show up more often like DKP, not getting into raids as much, ect than kicking out. I'm happy the OP gquit instead of getting burnt out on raiding.

I'm not allowed to raid in my druid's guild as main tank anymore because I didn't get exalted with scryers in 15 days.. and I was recovering from surgery, which I told them.

Lesquid I'm not allowed to raid in my druid's guild as main tank anymore because I didn't get exalted with scryers in 15 days.. and I was recovering from surgery, which I told them. o.O I'd start looking for another guild for that toon. Real life > WoW.
