"Starscream! Starscream" Rosanna sang happily, the tiny Femme bouncing into the nest that Twincast had let the seeker use in the time that he had spend there. The Femme had certainly not been to shy around the seeker, and absolutely thrilled that someone else was staying as there guest for the past three days. The storm had tamed up the evening before, but it left the mountain very wet and soggy, and very difficult to travel on. so Twincast proposed that they let it dry a couple of days, and of course inviting Starscream to remain with them in the mean time. feeding him energon, and letting him have the nest during his stay, Twincast was happy for the company, and found himself enjoying conversation. though Twincast had stepped it up a little, offering a little more energon then there rations, and doting on the seeker with complements and praise.
"wake up~ wake up~ the sun is really bright today Starscrem!" the Pygmy continued to chirp happily. flopping herself down in front of Starscream's beak. "wakey wakey~"

Starscream awoke very sluggishly. He had quickly grown very accustomed to Twincast's nest, having not slept so comfortably since he fled Cybertron. For once, he was not continually awakened by wind tickling his circuits or insects buzzing in his audios or animals bouncing on his chassis. He was able to recharge peacefully from dark until day and without awakening stiff and cranky. He could get to like this...
...except for Rosanna's high-pitched voice.
With a whirring groan, Starscream forced himself to bring his optics online and awaken, groggily lifting his head. "I'm up - I'm up..." he grumbled.

Rosanna giggled up at Starscream when he lifted his head, pushing herself up to her feet as well. "you were sleeping for so long, I didn't want you to miss out on the daylight, its easier to see during the day" nods her head, and clambers back to the edge of the nest as heavier footfalls could me heard approaching.
"Exactly" Twincast's voice said from the side of them, his red claw extending to offer the seeker an Energon cube "best to tour caves in the light"

Crimson optics flickered dully briefly before Starscream registered the presence of the energon cube and eagerly consumed it. He would miss this part of living in their cave, but at least he would have a cave of his own in which to recharge comfortably. "Today?" he asked after he finished eating, remembering they had been waiting for the rocks and ground to dry for Twincast to more easily traverse the mountains to help him find a cave of his own.

"the ground is dry and the rocks have traction" Twincast explained, lowering himself to sit down once the cube was taken from his claw. "perfect time to show you the cave I was talking about. if you're up to it" Twincast was perfectly pleasant, respect in his voice every time he talked to Starscream.

"I certainly am," Starscream answered. Once the energon was in his systems, it was much easier for him to fully awaken and shake off the remnants of last night's recharge. He stood gracefully, his head held high though it was hard to tell if it was a conscious movement or not. His spark warmed every time he recognized Twincast's respect and appreciation. Starscream had grown unaccustomed to carrying himself with pride the way he had on Cybertron, having instead become used to hunkering down and trying to avoid attention.

Twincast didn't get up at first, watching Starscream as he drew himself up and letting himself enjoy the sight. His optics lower down to Rosanna as she scrambled out of the nest happily, the little pink Femme looking up at the two full sized mech, Twincast knew she would want to go along, but he softly shook his head. Twincast knew the trek up the mountain was difficult, and he did not want to risk her “you remain here Rosanna” Twincast told the Pygmy, frowning softly when he noticed her droop and quickly coming up with a compromise for her “… Why don’t you go outside and play for a while. It’s nice out for that and I know the flowers are blooming” this got a better reaction from her. Chuckling as she perked back up “Alright!” and pounced toward the cave exit. Looking away from her, still amused, he returned his attention to the Deceptihan Jet. ”Lets getting going,” he said finally pushing himself to his feet.

Starscream watched Rosanna leave before he turned his attention back to Twincast and nodded, following him out of the cave. Once outside, Starscream stretched slowly in the sunlight, letting it warm his wings. The sun was definitely one of the few things he liked about this organic world - he loved the way it warmed him from head to foot. Cybertron did not have a sun and was trapped in a permanent twilight. The brightness had taken some getting used to, but once he did, he doubted he would ever want to be without it.

Twincast stepped out behind Starscream, watching the seeker while he wasn't looking. lowering his attention down to Rosanna who was making her way down the the field of flowers, and using the moment of "distraction" to brush his shoulder over Starscream's side. as he tried to slip out beside him "ah, sorry" he said, side stepping to give the seeker some room.

Starscream flinched slightly at the sudden contact, but Twincast's words smoothed his initial reaction as he took the hint that it really was an accident. Instead, he straightened himself and stretched his wings one more time before he turned to glance to the blue mech. "Lead the way."

turning to look up the mountain at Starscream's words, crouching low and pounding up to get himself over the first ledge above his cave. starting to climb up to the next flat aria before he turned around to look back at Starscream, nodding for him to follow. then continued to make his way around the rocks, the slopes being rapidly steeper the farther up he got.

Starscream, of course, had a slightly easier time getting up the rocky slopes. For each particularly steep incline or high group of rocks, he simply kicked in his thrusters for a slight boost in his jump. Normally, he would not deign himself to walk so much with a groundling, but there was not much point in flying up the mountain since he did not know where they were going, and he would have to wait on Twincast anyway.

Twincast moved as quickly as he could, but he did not have the same advantage as Starscream did. the progress up the mounting took a little longer then he would have liked, and a couple of times he got a little turned around, before he recognized a landmark and continued on the right direction. keeping mostly quiet, Twincast paused only when he had a visual of the cave. Grinning proudly and turning to lookk over at Starscream "alright, we're here" he called to him. then moved forward to the cave.

"This one?" Starscream clarified as he followed the blue mech, looking around. It was not quite as large as Twincast's, but a quick scan told Starscream it was made of limestone - a soft but sturdy rock he could easily carve bigger to make plenty of room for his wings. It was also far enough up the mountain that annoying organics would be few and far between. So far, it seemed perfect, but the seeker waited to voice his opinion until after he saw the inside.

Stepping inside the cave, and taking a moment to look around it, remembering the short time he had spent there. it was a nice cave, he had had plans on making it larger, but decided to leave before he did any of that. he was sure Starscream could make it work for him. or at least he hoped so. turning around to look over at Starscream as he came in. "well?"
