Ryuu sighed sleepily, being very tired. She knew she shouldn't have done it but it wasn't in her heart to let the eggs stay unhatched. After both her brother and sister left for some grand adventure, leaving her alone with their parents, it hadn't take long for her to want to go too. But there had been a hiccup in her plan, she hadn't seen which direction they had left in and ended up taking the opposite direction of the two. By the time it reached nightfall, Ryuu had realised her mistake but it was too late to go back until the morning. Looking around she had spotted a cave that lead into several different rooms. From the looks of it, it used to be the home for dragons in the past.
It was in the first room that she spotted the eggs. The room was large and held egg shells of many different dragons and the bones of animals onces used to feed the young hatchlings. At first Ryuu had thought it was completely empty but as she was leaving the large room, she spotted what looked to be an unhatched egg. Treading carefully, she made her way over and was surprised to find it completely unharmed. Curious she left the egg where it was and looked around for any other unhatched eggs.
Through the mess that was left, Ryuu came across another unhatched egg at the other end of the room, and carefully she picked it up and brought it closer to her other find. She had always been sensitive to magic and although not as strong with it as her mother she could sense it pretty well and reconized the hatching spell that lay dorment in both eggs. She knew the spell, having learned it from her parents, and since it was already a part of the eggs it made it possible for her to be able to help it along.
"Don't worry you pretty eggs, soon you will be free."
In the morning she didn't go back home like she had planned on doing but went hunting instead. The Hatchlings needed food when they got out. It took her most of the morning for her to get enough food but she had done it, and later that afternoon she woke up the hatching spell, and boosted it with what magic she had in her.
At first she didn't think it succeeded but when she heard the first cracking of an egg, tears fell from Ryuu's eyes. "That's it come on out," she had whispered.
Both eggs had hatched and after the excitement of that had passed, the exhaustion had taken over. After making sure they had access to the food, Ryuu plopped down and slept.

Manton looked up from his dinner at the sleeping dragon. "Mommy?" he asked, but reseved no answer. Afraid of being alone, he looked around and was happy to spot another dragon about his size. "Hi! I'm Manton!" He said happily. He wasn't sure where the name had come from but it felt right.
