Well this is just me but I make about 1k a week by just posting in the guild or on the forums. You can get additional gold from the treasure machine on the main pages of the site or in towns by shaking rocks, trees and bushes. Doing polls also help get gold like the poll question in the introduction thread on the guild's main forum. By answering the poll you can usually get about 50 or so gold. Playing in the marketplace can get you gold by selling unwanted items. So basically if you just post in the guild and shake stuff in towns then you can have some bits of gold each day. Also just by surfing through the site itself earns you gold. Play some games too to earn gold.
