Timeline: Medieval (Swords, axes, bow & arrow, etc.)
Realm: World of magic and mythical creatures
Races: Many (Human dominance)
Prejudice: High
Time of War: Likely

(I bring to you my experiences, you may use your 'furred' self, I will be using two Chars, an assassin girl and a fursona nearly like Luca. Read up before you post if this is your first time doing something like this so you will stay in the era and no one will gripe, mostly me. Enjoy....)

A young girl decked in a leather battle suit shoves her way into the local small pub, she makes her way to the barkeep and stares up at the man, an elder dark elf with a white smile, he looks down at her and grunts then tries to send her on her way. She refuses and thrust her dagger into the bar, the man fell silent seeing the insignia of the Assasin's Guild on it. He poured her a strong drink then edged closer.

"I am looking for a target, annoying, furry, out of the ordinary. Seen anyone like that?" Her voice was deeper than the norm almost male-like.
The keep straightened and nodded to the door. "There."

She turned and smiled as her 'target' came into sight, she wrenched free her dagger and sheated it. She then went up to the one of the Canid race, she rubbed a finger across his bare, furry chest then pushed him against the wall.

"Do you know an Armash?" She demanded.
"I am he..."
"Good, come with me, your very life demands it..." She grabbed the Canid's tail and pulled him out of the pub and back behind the building so no one could hear them by accident...

"Armash," The girl said after making sure no eyes were around. "You know you have a price on your hide, I can give you a choice, I have seen the chaos that follows you. You can take my seal upon your body, or lose your life.... Your choice, choose quickly."
Armash growled as he pondered, to live and be a slave or die, he surely did not want to die just yet. "Mark me, just treat me as a partner, that is all I ask."

Armash knelt and left his chest open to the girl, though she did not want to mark his chest. She grabbed her dagger and edged closer to him, then she dug the tip of the blade into his brow and carved an eagle into him very quickly and in a way that would forever show. She backed away one step then pulled a cloth from her leather chest straps and patted the fresh blood. She grinned at him and nodded, he accepted the marking with only a slight flinch, he was strong indeed or just numb. He stood and took the cloth from her and looked at the blood, he sighed then pressed on the wound.

"This will take a while to stop, just like any other head wound." His deep, feral-like voice hummed a lovely baritone. "So... partner, what can I call you to be more professional?"
"I never did like the term master, even when I was a student in the Guild, Call me Kris." She still smiled as a stray trickle ecaped the cloth. "Let's head to my camp so I my sear the mark. Then we head away from this town before another assassin tries to take you from me."
Armash was confused but he followed her anyway, with the mark visible, he would be able to flee for long, though he knew if Kris wanted to, she could kill him in half a heartbeat. "What about those who saw you take me?"
"They know I am a Guild member, they probably think your laying in the street by now."

In the bar, a young man was sitting at a table. His features were hidden in the shadows of a special cloak. The cloak was as dark as night and was emanating with a strange energy. He had been there by mere chance and never expected to see a member of the Assassin's Guild. He was given the task of aiding a certain person kill the members of the Assassin's Guild. He stood up as that certain person walked into the room. He appeared to be the same age as the one who was waiting for him. "Hey, Blaze, We've got an update on our mission," he said, "The Assassin girl is on her way to her encampment. She's also got a companion now. But I'm sure you can handle him." Blaze tilted his head to the side. "Why do I have to fight the furry one?" he asked, "He doesn't seem to be with her by choice, Jolt. I don't think we should attack them at all." Jolt reached forward and grabbed the front of Blaze's cloak and jerked him forward. "Our mission is to annihilate the Assassin Guild," Jolt said, "The Order may have paired us up, but I'm the leader in this partnership. As the leader, I will see to it that our mission is completed as soon as possible. Now, I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Your thoughts aren't the priority here and neither is your life. Understand?" Blaze nodded as Jolt let him go. The two left the bar.

"Keep those ears open, Armash, every Guild member has want-to-be assassins on their tail. You might of heard tale of Yankly, the lizardman from the northern reaches, he had twenty on his hide and he slaughtered them all without breaking sweat... well I can't say he can sweat really, but still..."

She led him out of the village and out to a secluded camp that was hard to spot by any who were not searching. Trees and shubs enclosed this place, it was forged this way by the Guild many years ago. She sat down on a cut out stump, it even had room for a tailed member to sit, looking at him sniff around she wandered why there was a hit on this one. He was the first one to catch her eye, an odd query for the description but all together misleading. This one did not seem dangerous, and he has kept his calm, why was there a hit on him from one of his own kin?

Blaze and Jolt walked down a path. "Are you sure they went this way?" Jolt asked, "My senses are stronger than any humans, but for some reason I can't sense anything." He picked up a few rocks and started juggling them. "I'm sure they went this way," Blaze said, "I can feel a few life forces this way. Are you 100% sure we should do this? Neither of us owe the elders anything. We can choose not to follow thier orders." Jolt threw a rock at the back of Blaze's head. "Oww!" Blaze exclaimed, "Okay, okay, I get it. You don't want to back down. I'll stay quite from now on." Jolt laughed and dashed up ahead. "You don't have to be quite," He said, "Just stop questioning my resolve. I don't know why we're doing this. I just know that I don't want them to target us next. The Order is not very forgiving to failure or deserters. I can't put you at risk, too. For now, we'll do as they say and treat these missions as life-or-death situations and complete them as such. Once we're done, we'll attack the organization itself and erase any records of our involvement. So let's get this done, alright?" Blaze dashed forward and caught up with him. "Alright," He said, "Let's get this over with." They both leapt into the trees and split up.

Armash growled lightly, "New scents, one holds fear..."
"Already? Damn, that was quick. Get ready to fight, I rather not be caught with our pants down." Kris chuckled and drew a short sword from under her leather. The blade wa hidden flat against her flesh. "Today is a good day, Mari, you get to drink well..." She rubbed the metal as though it was a pet, each stroke left a resounding ring in the air.

Blaze dashed from one tree to another without much effort. The limbs held his light weight very well. He stopped in a tree right next to the camp. His shadow flickered around the tree. He instantly knew that the camp was right behind him. Just as he was about to leap into the campsite, Jolt hit the ground flat on his face. He got up and brushed the dirt off of his face. He had fallen right into the encampment. "Jeez, I do that more on accident than I do on purpose," he said as he realized where he was, "And I think I'm royally screwed. Did I interrupt something? A picnic, maybe?" Blaze slapped his forehead. He jumped down and landed next to his partner. "Was that a part of your plan?" he asked, "Or is this your first major screw up? You could have let me finish the recon before you came into this equation, you know that right?" He pulled out a sword and got into a defensive position. "It was an accident, okay," Jolt said, "It won't happen again." He put his hands on the back of his head and waited for a reason to pull out a weapon.

"Partner... or pupil?" Kris mused as she spun her blade to her side. "Either way, I will not die easily. If you know me, and you value your life, run now..." She squeezed the hilt and the blade split to a opened crested double-edge. She rarely used the technique in battle for most feared the blade itself, something having to do with a curse...
Armash growled and flexed his claws itching for some blood. He had once sworn not to kill, but now he has to fight to keep his life.

Jolt started snickering at Kris' comment. "Know you?" he said trying to hold back some of his laughter, "Why would I know about some low-life assassin? All I know is that I was sent to erase you from existance. And I'm not afraid of anything. So, I'm not running. In fact, I've been itching for a real fight for a while. Maybe, you can give Blaze here a chance to actually use his natural abilities." Blaze held the handle of his blade firmly. He didn't want to drop his guard for a second. "Jolt, My natural abilities are too much for any human," he said, "I'm not using them. It wouldn't be fair." Jolt pulled out his dagger and placed it in front of his body. "Nothing about this is fair," Jolt said, "The Order is forcing us to do their dirty work. We're both unnatural beings fighting mere guild members. And we are going to be attacked wether we do this or not. We might as well go all out if we're going to go at all." Blaze lowered his blade.

Kris took the advantage, one of the foes lowered his blade like a fool. She threw a throwing dagger as fast as she could blink at the shoulder. The next blade fell into place within her sleeve. She spun her "Mari" once then slid into an attack on the other foe just as fast. Quick and silent as she was trained, if she could, she would draw the leader out then slice his throat. To her, this Jolt, was the supposed leader. He would pay the price for not paying heed to her warning.

Blaze's shadow shot up and wrapped around the dagger before it hit him. He took a step back and lifted his sword back into a defensive position. Jolt quickly brought his dagger up to block Kris'. "Are you insane?!" he asked, "An up-close attack already? You haven't even had enough time to gauge our strengths yet. I'm not a great assassin, but I do know the basic principles of the trade." He leapt back away from Kris. He put his dagger away and pulled out a sword.

While Jolt was distracted by her immediate attack, she had brought out a second dagger and caught his clothing as he jumped back and sliced the cloth into a 'V'. She winked at him then spun her blade waiting for a retaliation.

Jolt looked down at the letter. "V?," he said, "What's that stand for? Vicious, vivacious, victory, void, am I getting close?" He put his hand on his sword and sent a bolt of electricity out at Kris' feet. The Blaze dashed over and stood between the two. "Jolt, this fight seems pointless," he said, "We should at least let them know why we're here." Jolt sighed and put away his sword. "Do you always have to try the diplomatic way?" he asked, "Your status in your world means nothing in this world, at least, not until in articulos mors. And that will be too late for diplomacy. Your father isn't very forgiving." Blaze put his sword away.

"Vain, actually... now, if you want to try to talk to an Acarerian, try mind you, that does not mean she will listen." Kris chuckled, she could feel Armash flinch at the race name. She had to ponder about this later though.
