okay here is how it will go post your favorite mythical creature as your post and see how many creatures we can list

okay mine is a Nymph known for their beauty and can blind any mortal who dared to look at it and could kill them if naked the song of lure is it's weapon of choice to draw males ever so closer unlike a siren these creatures can be found in a forest

Mine is by far the werewolf.

Men who turn into a wolf during the full moon is the tradition, though with so many myths and legends coming into the spotlight there seems to be quite a bit of debate. I prefer the traditional creature which is actually concious of his/her actions during and after transformation.

I would have to say vampires or werewolves. Not necessarily the Twilight vampires. They're just interesting to me.

Just about any dragon but I'd have to say that one of my favorites may not be heard of often. Yamata no Orochi ( "8-branched giant snake") is a legendary 8-headed and 8-tailed Japanese dragon that could stretch its body across 8 hills and 8 valleys.

My favorite(s) are dragons as well. Depending on what legends you hear, they can be very wise and intelligent as well as being huge, scaly, and fearsome. They're just dang cool.
