Hi!
I just finished watching my first French movie "Amélie" and I have to say it was a pretty great film smile . It made me want to go out and do random good deads for others...
Anyways, can anyone recommend other good French films to me? I like classics, comedies, and historical films. No romance though ;P, its not my cup of tea...

Je te conseille "Les Anges Gardiens". C'est un film très drôle.

It's American but it does have a big French connection: Ratatouille. (There's also a movie called: Marie Antoinette, (who's played by Kirsten Dunst,) she was one of the Queens of France and it shows how her life was like right before she maried King Louis XVI (or XIV, I always get confused...) to around when they were supposed to be beheaded.

OUI VIVE DÎNER DE CONS!!
il y a aussi Les Ch'tis que je n'ai pas encore vu, mais qui me semble excellent
tu peux également écouter des films québecois: Bon Cop Bad Cop (c'est moitié français, moitié anglais), Roméo et Juliette, Dans une galaxie près de chez vous le film (c'est à se tordre de rire et c'est parfait pour apprendre les expressions québecoises, cependant il ne faut pas trop se fier à celles du capitaine qui n'en dit jamais une correctement)

DarkShade-San Bienvenu chez les chtis ouep c un bon film il a presque battu le record d'entree de Titanic au cinema wink QUOIIIIIIIIIII?!?!?!, ça fait pas très longtemps que je l'ai vu peut-être je m'attendais à trop, mais sincèrement j'ai bien plus aimé le dîner de con (quoique ça ma pris un second visionnement pour tomber en amour avec XP) j'ai écouté le Titanic pour la première fois en fin de semaine et j'ai tremblé tout le long du naufrage (un peu hors-sujet, mais bon...)
