I have been stalking the new "Giving back" vote thread and have been randomly inviting people whose posts catch my eye.
Several have already accepted the invitations so I just wanted to welcome them to the gang!

Thanks for the invite! I'm happy you feel the same way about the voting.. Maybe I was a bit harsch with what I said, but as I'm pretty much confronted with it every day at work, I can get so mad at people to choose animals because they are cute and cuddly instead of humankind. I mean just 3 days ago another lady at work passed away due to a CVA (Cerebro Vasculair Accident), more commonly known as a stroke! I wish we could find a cure for it! It's so sad. I helped her just the other day to get dressed and stuff.. And now she's gone!

Varuca- I don't think you were harsh at all. I really don't think you can see someone die of a terminal illness and then choose animals over other people. Do they not realise that many others suffer in the same way?

I was invited and joined a while ago but haven't been active because I was moving for school, had to get a computer of my own, and internet. Here I am, and will be more active.
I'm a Developmental Service Worker student, which means I;m studying Developmental Disabilities.
