MercyWild: I recall you combined wax with herbs, and a suggested use was to hang it places for such things as protection. I was curious if you had considered making an amulet this way. With the flexibility of wax, you may be able to create a nice blend for a personalized amulet. Though I'm sure wax would be awefully fragile to wear around your neck. I thought, being that you are adept with energy work, an amulet would be perfect.

I know I'm not MercyWild, but I'm gonna post anyways. I've heard of carrying herbs in a small pouch on a string around your neck as an amulet before. You could make it for protection, to attract love, and whatnot. I once bought this neat charm - it was a metal heart that you could open up and put rose leaves, lavender, rose quartz, and a few metal figurines (tiny ones, in the shape of a moon, star, fairy, and angel...I don't think I'm forgetting any). It gave descriptions/reasons for each - lavender for calming and peace, rose petals for love, as well as the rose quarts, um..different ones like luck and wishes, though I cant remember them all now. For some reason, I took it apart afterwards (you have to pout it together yourself to begin with), and it wouldn't all fit inside it. So it's my fault for opening it again, but I still have the charms from it in a silver heart box thing in my room, just waiting for a container to hold it as a charm. I might consider putting some of them in wax! That might be neat. But I think we were talking about herbs, weren't we? I think I got a bit off topic, but yeah I've both done it and have heard of it, so I guess it's a good idea! biggrin

I had considered it, but I am still trying to figure out how to get around the fragility of the cooled wax. I have been trying different types of waxes and I am considering maybe using clear nail polish to coat it and see if that helps. I have placed them in pouchs to be worn before, that proctects them a little.
