My dad and I were having an argument about something and he's like, "You are so negative all the time."
And I was like, "Well I guess it's because there are no positives in life, ya think?"
And he goes, "Well, I just found out why you shouldn't listen to the Doors. They have influenced you and made you the negative person that you are. They were such a dark group."
I was like -jaw drops-"how dare you blame them? Like I listen to the songs and go, 'well better be bitter and full of hate now.'"
That's right, Dad, blame the Doors.

lol O my Raptor Jesus, thats very funny. I mean I listen to death metal and the only thing my parents blame anything on for my musical is taste is smoking "that's not mine".
But really your dad is blinded by the fact that all people who listen to "OMG GH3770 R4P" (Gangster Rap to you and me) are dressing like idiots, faking popping cap's just to look cool, wearin' their shitty a** clothes because Fity got shot 9 times (obviously he's smart) and they wanna be be just like him. And they're sagging, extremely limiting there running capabilities btw., which makes you wonder how they manage to run from the cops when their crack deal goes wrong or when they're crudely robbing a bank in the most shitty a** planned heists man can ever think of. That s**t hasn't worked since the Old West was invented.
But I digress, if your dad really thinks that, just tell him at least you don't listen to Gangster Rap.

that is ridiculous! you should never blame the music for how someone is. just because a song is evil and stuff, does not mean the people who listen to it are evil. sounds like your dad just has an issue with the Doors, like my step-dad hating on 90% of my cd case.
maybe if you talked it out with him to try and find out why he doesn't like them, you could possibly get him to understand and at least drop the attitude about it. this is how i got my step-dad to quit calling David Bowie a fa**&^, because i'm sorry but its frickin rude
