The History:
We are starting from the beginning. Miaka is at the Library with Yui and she finds the book. The two read the incantation outloud and they are transported into the Universe of the Four Gods.
Where We Begin...:
Well, (since there is currently no Yui), Miaka is transported to the outskirts of Suzaku's country (gomen nasai!!! I forgot it's name...). She has safely journeyed to the country and is stuck at the immigration gates because she has no passport.

Miaka stood at the gates, pondering how she was going to make it through. The guards kept eyeing her eerily.
"Eeto..." she began, but she quickly stepped back. The guards looked at her, more intently. They looked as if they wanted to throw her behind bars immediately.
Maybe there is a way for me to slip over the wall. That way, I won't have to deal with the guards, Miaka thought to herself. She eyed a nearby tree and proceeded to climb it. Once over the wall, Miaka made a run for it. The guards saw her and began shouting. She didn't know what to do, so she kept running through the town. Maybe she could outrun them...

Miaka slips into a rather large crowd and begins to walk slower. She bumps into a guy with flaming red hair and apologizes.
"I'm SO sorry...it's just so hard to see straight when there's so many people around," Miaka apologized.

"Gotta run!" she said and began running through the sardine-packed crowds.

Miaka felt as if she could run no more, so she ran down a side-alley and hid behind some boxes. She heard the guards stop and they quickly searched the area for her. Miaka crossed her fingers for hope and let out a sigh of relief when she heard them run away. She waited a minute before standing up, but when she stood up she saw that she was surrounded by a group of ruffians.

After running down several alleys to make sure he was not followed, he checked the contents of the money pouch he nabbed from the guard. Inside he only found a few coins, but plenty for him to eat dinner off of.
As he made his way back towards the main street where he could try to slip into the crowds, he heard a commotion coming from one of the nearby alleys. He went to investigate and there he found the girl who had ran into him surrounded by some thugs.
He thought to himself "This almost seems like someone else should be doing something about this."
"HEY YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE!" he shouted . . .

Miaka's eyes widened in surprise. "It's you!!"
The ruffians looked surprised by the newcomer. Their leader stepped up. "And just what do you plan to do about it? We've found ourselves a girl that might pitch a pretty penny on the slave market," their leader replied.
