She is apperently an ancestor of Rika and Hanyuu.

In one of the puzzle pieces and in Miotsukushi-hen, we are shown a scene from Hanyuu's past, in which Hanyuu, or whatever her name was back then, is confronted by Ouka in a burning building holding the Onigari no Ryūō, a sacred demon banishing sword.

We can assume that this "Hanyuu" was killed.

After reading the puzzle piece about this incident, we can say for sure that Ouka was
*spoiler* "Hanyuu's" daughter. *end spoiler*

I've always been so intrigued by her, since there is so few information about her. Plus, this would mean that Hanyuu had a husband, I guess, if she had a daughter. o_o;;

I wonder who "Hanyuu's" husband was?

I hope they include Ouka and Hanyuu's past in the third season. Though that's probably a stretch.

It's interesting because Hanyuu's husband was a human, so I wonder how that affected Hanyuu when the demon god started wreaking havoc.

Hm, I doubt it unless it was mentioned in Saikoroshi-hen, or is added in to Hirukowashi-hen and Hajisarashi-hen.

I am wondering about that, too.

It's probably in the new arks, cause there's no mention of Hannyu's past in the Saikoroshi-hen
