Do you live near a small venue that big bands have played at? I just found out that Mudvayne is playing at a bar that is 4 blocks from my house. About a year and a half ago, Cold played at another bar that's like 5 minutes from my house. It's good to live near Chicago biggrin

Simple Plan played a small bar here before they got really famous, then they came back after they got famous and played the only stadium type venue we have.
Boys Night Out and The Receiving End Of Sirens played another small bar here about a month ago. And before that Thrice, Circa Survive were there. And As I Lay Dying. And Atreyu and Silverstein tagged along but didn't play.
