 Sarah flipped around and smashed her club into another one of her assailaint's faces, then had to kick the body down because it was stuck on the spikes that covered the top three fourths of the weapon. Around her was now a blo ody, dirty pile of bandits and robbers who thought her easy prey, until they attacked and had a steel club almost shoved straight through their bodies. Sarah moaned furiously, "Now I have to clean this thing before the blo od cakes on it!" She made her way to the stream she saw about a quarter mile back, grumbling.

 Making her way through the bandit and robber sturren forest. Eyes glancing at every sound and every odd movement. The grace of the de mon within her giving her the power to see the shadows moving within the night. One in particular caught her attention. Tracking off of the thick path and going toward where the sounds of screams and groans. Reaching the area of a battle, seeing the dea d bodies of the bandits upon the ground. Looking down at them with a small amused smirk, one crawling toward her, begging to be saved. Reaching down and lifting him off of the ground and then throw the man to the ground and kill ing him. "Fool. You were nothing more then a waste." following the freasher foot prints that were on the forest floor.

Sarah made her way to the steam and chucked her club into it. It traveled along the current less then a yard, before sinking to the bottom and getting it's spikes caught in the gravel. Sarah took her gauntlets off, they fell to the ground with a loud thud, and she walked over to the stream. She reached in, grabbing her weapon. She started running her free hand across it, washing off the spikes and going around and inbetween them to get the bloo d off.

 Rue was snoozing in a tree, overhanging a stream. A small string of drool was hanging from her mouth as she slept on the large limb. She mumbled in her sleep for a moment, and suddenly slipped out of the tree, hanging by one of her knees. Her eyes slowly opened. "Mm? Good morning, world...why are you upside-down?" She said groggily. She looked up and noticed she was hanging by her knee. "Oh...Silly me!" She laughed and her hand went up, grabbing the branch and pulling herself up. She looked down at the creek below, seeing Sarah washing the blood off in the stream. "Look, World," She said smiling, "A little girl like me is putting people blood in your veins. But people blood isn't supposed to go in your veins, is it? I'll go tell her." Rue leapt down from the branch and landed behind the girl. "That's a lot of people you're putting in the earth's veins..." She said smiling. "Where did you get all that people blood?"

Sarah whiped around, her club at ready, though a little slippery in her hands, "Who are you, and give me one good reason I shouldn't pound your skull in right now!" Normally, she would have disregarded formalities and slaughtered who ever was there. But her weapon was still dripping, and she knew that it could fall out of her hand if she swung it hard.

Rue's eyes grew excited at the sight of the club. "Oh you are a girl just like me!" She exclaimed. "I'm Rue! And one good reason you shouldn't pound my skull in right now? Umm...." She thought for a second. "I don't think the World would be very happy...cuz then it wouldn't have anyone to talk to!" She cocked her head and smiled.

Sarah gaped in disbelief and her arms fell to her sides, "You're kidding, right? And what do you mean just like me?" The regular reaction of a person seeing her hold up an over ten pound club at arm length with out faultering is running for the hills or laughing. Then dying. This Rue must be very strange.

"The world says that little girls look just like me!" Rue said, throwing her arms in the air. "They have skin and hair and eyes and ten fingers and ten toes and teeth and nails!" Rue looked up at the sky. "The world tells me a lot of things..."

"Pill....Grim..." Rue said the name slowly. "I like your name! It's tasty!" She said, grinning eerily. "What do I want from you...?" She thought for another brief second and then snapped her fingers. "Now I remember! The world says that everyone needs friends...but it says I need friends that arent rocks and dirt and deer carcasses...It says I need friends who are like me...You say you're not a little girl, but you are like me in many many ways! You have teeth and nails and fingers and toes and hair, too!"

Tasty?! What is her problem!? "Listen, I'm not really looking for a 'friend' right now. I just had to clean off Elmer," She hefted her club, "and get going," Sarah slipped her gauntlets back on her hands, and picked Elmer up again, "So I will be going. I'm a little rushed, and need to get to the town up ahead." Sarah began walking to the town again.

"Oh..." Rue looked a little sad, "They won't let me back into the town...not after what happened last time...It was pretty." Her eyes got distant and dreamy for a second, she suddenly snapped out of it. "Is Elmer your friend?" She said, looking at the massive club. "He doesn't look like you..."

She looked up at the sky and started humming "Greensleeves."
