hey everyone! the thread in the original guild had over 34 pages, but due to poor moderation in that guild I'm unable to sift through and find what they all were... however, I did find a helpful forum that did take care of itself and therefor the list was easy to get.
(note: try ctrl+f and some general keywords to see if it's been suggested already)
• Easily Arranged Sub-Forums. As of yet, the only choice is to arrange them as you buy them. Be strategic about this; subforums are hard to move around.
• Guild Forum Pulse. • Forum Customizer. Sort of like the ability to change colors of things? maybe some other ideas?
• A Guild Hideout/Hall/Dorm in Gaia Towns. This actually is possible, but you have to use your own gaia home.
• Guild Helpers and/or more ranks in the Crew. As of yet, you need to establish these ranks yourself. Designate which crew member should do what, if that is what you're trying to do. Then of course it's hard to monitor, but that's where the "crew activity log" comes in.
• Moderator Rank Colors, like the mods in the main site. Maybe within the guild change the captians name to red, and the crews names to purple?
• Guild Shop, with a small tax like the marketplace, that goes towards the guild funds. Why not just use your own gaia shop? (or the guild mules) You could put a percentage of the proceeds into the guild account.
• More uses for the Guild Funds. Like the ability to transfer it to a member as a contest prize.
• Being able to Re-Arrange the Guild List on 'My Guilds'. • Mass thread deletion/rearranging. For example, to clear a sub-forum.
• Recycle/sell and delete sub-forums. To help out those guilds with 50-some subforums...
• "New Topic" and "New Reply" icon by the sub-forum name. • Guild thread subscription. Maybe a page under "My thread subscriptions" called "My guild thread subscriptions"
• Guild Inventory This is another situation where you would use a guild mule.
• Guild games with prizes from the guild funds (or possibly guild inventory) The way to have "guild games" within the gaia games pages is to go to the game you wish to play, and lock the room. Post the password in your guild, and let the members play. Of course, only about 6 (or is it 10 now?) people will be able to play at once. And then, gaia would do the rewarding with gold, so there's no problem
smile • Guild 'announcements', possibly the 'broadcasts' tool? (or a no-reply mass PM system)With the option to send to all members or to crew only.
• A guild marketplace to make buying and selling guilds easier. • The ability to see if a member is online just by looking at the member list in the guilds• A way to pay the crew with the money in the guild account, amounts editable through the crew panel• Put guild ranking system back into play Or at least explain what it is to us. There are some captians who want to know where their guilds show up without sifting through thousands of pages!
