try to find a good friend that you can talk to about your fears and worries. when i my boyfriend deployed this past spring, i was really lucky to have a friend from high school to talk to that also understood what it was like, her fiancee is a marine. it really does help. i'm usually online pretty much everyday if you would like to talk. hope this helps you. *hugs*

I hate to say this, since I'm not a mod in this guild, but you should prob edit out some of the details from that post for OPSEC reasons. basically take out details and make it kind of vague, so no details on dates.
I do know how you feel though, my husband is deploying soon, our first deployment, and its killing me to live in a military town without knowing anyone at all.

My husband and I are getting ready for our first deployment too. Strangely, I'm not freaking out about it. I guess I've just come to grips with the fact that theres nothing I can do that will change it.
If you need to talk, or anything, just give me a PM. I don't know if I'll have the greatest advice, but I'll do my best.
