from delicate pink blossoms
from hard and green,
from yellow or red.
from spring, to summer, to fall.
from seed to tree to orchard.
from orchard, to bushel.
from bushel to me.
from me to my mouth.
from my mouth to my tongue.
from my tongue to my brain.
and from there,
it's all bliss.



ok thats it, i like them all, as simple as unelegant as they are. i need help choosing, and even tho i didn't leave a poll would any1 be willing to offer their opinions on which one is the one to be submitted?

I sit in the room, simple, quiet
watching the sun shine on the bowl
the red skin, the symmetry, the magnificence.
I pluck the crimson orb from the top of the pile
examining it, seeing no bruises or blemishes.
I take a bite, letting the crisp flesh slide apart beneath my teeth,
savoring it, not feeling the slightest bit of mealiness with my tongue.
I take another bite, then another, feeling each tiny bit go down
my throat between bites.
Bit by bit, the skin disappears, then the flesh until the seeds can be seen.
I place what was once a luscious apple on the table, then eat another.

1 doesn't really make sense, 2 is just kind of ... eh. #3 it is!!!! great job!!
