Maia Hart's post in the funeral home is really phenomenal and you should all give it a gander. She shows the inner workings of her character in a truly skilled way and deserves the attention for being a truly great role player.

I feel that Alma and Nicole need commendation for their string of parody titles for movies and games on the first page of the Suites and McMansions housing thread. I myself have been known to make a few here in LoSI (For example, Salutations Tuesday, the band whose CD is playing in Lindsay's car, is a direct reference to the band Hey Monday, who had a CD that I could not stop listening to in my own car when I wrote that post), however, a series of posts in which many movies and their characters are discussed without direct reference yet in a way which we may all understand with just a little thought is quite amazing. Well done, you two. I love those posts just for all of the masterfully-done references, but the fact that they also serve as ways to reveal things about each character's personality through what movies they like, what characters they like, and video game preferences truly wins me over. -round of applause-

Aww, thanks! redface

I honestly needed a online thesaurus for some of them... especially the World Ends With You (I really need to play more of that...)(I think I called it the Globe Ceases By You) It's kinda hard to find a synonym for "world"... sweatdrop And Ookami (Lupo)(Ookami is Japanese for wolf and Lupo I believe is Italian?). But seriously, I would recommend Ookami and the World Ends With You to anyone. O.O But it would be good to note, both those games have strong Japanese references because Ookami is based on Japanese myths and TWEWU takes place in Japan (a part of Tokyo, I think). Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, and Harvest Moon are well known enough I don't think I even really needed to mention them in this post. sweatdrop
((As you can tell, I'm a bit of a gamer... >_>''')) [[A lot of people I know in real life haven't even heard of TWEWU or Ookami, so I felt I needed to post them...]]

The movies are easier to understand, I think.... More commercials for them.

Actually, I know of both games. I haven't played them, but I'm a gamer girl who hangs around other gamer girls and a lot of gamer guys. biggrin I think to have not heard of them would get my butt kicked, haha. XD

Haha, well, then you don't fit in the majority of my peers. All they care about is who's with who, which friends are really their friends and the like. My friends and I are more worried about games, mangas, books, school, what we plan to do with our lives.... maybe...

Anyway, I'm glad you have! But they are really good, but I'm not that far in tWEwY, or Ookami... >_<' But I really enjoy them. 3nodding

aw thanks! *just noticed this thread for the first time just now*

(I hardly ever look at the think tank save for character challenges and profiles)

ZOMG MU!

I want you to know how delightfully disturbing and creepy your posts are with Father Blood. You hardly ever fail to send a chill up my spine with your delightfully creepiness. I commend you, my friend, for your masterful play of your character. Sometimes I wish I could hear you read your posts aloud, because I have a feeling they'd be a hell of a lot creepier. Through your use of emphasis and italics I can almost hear Blood's thoughts in my own ears.

Fantastic job, friend. You don't get nearly enough compliments.

Hooray! Thanks. I've recently been exposed to a whole new way of thinking about writing, and I'm trying a little of it out, I'm glad you like it.
Also, LoSI the audiobook, anyone?

Oh my god, YES! I support this idea... It's kinda like that YouTube idea, but much easier to do... between costuming and multiple characters and whatnot.

Atrox Saint
The third floor corridor on the right-hand side, in particular, is out of bounds to anyone who doesn't want to die a particularly painful death.

Wonderful addition to the description of the Seaside Manor @ Prom.
