So I was wondering what kind of music everyone listens to. This doesn't just have to be about 'writing music,' although you can definitely include that if you want. Post your favorites--artists, songs, lyrics, links to videos, whatever.
I like all kinds of music... Mostly rock, country if it isn't too depressing, and some rap and pop if the lyrics are good and it's not just "Yo, you b*tch I wanna f*ck..." etc. My favorite band would have to be Within Temptation. Not a lot of people have heard of them but I love them.
My favorite song, though, isn't by them. It changes often but at the moment it's Here To You by Decyfer Down. It somehow turned into "our song" and I love it.
Some other favorites are Whispers In The Dark by Skillet, The Last Night by Skillet, Never Too Late by Three Days Grace, and lately I've also liked I'm No Superman. I'm not sure who it's by, but it's the theme song of Scrubs. xD

I'm very into rock, but other than that my iPod is a complete mess of random songs that I like. It's had for me to pinpoint an exact artist or style of music in particular, but at the moment I'm really into Fall Out Boy. However, I've also like Lifehouse and Nickleback (sometimes.) Greenday and Linkin Park are usually amazing. Rock in general is amazing. Country and rap aren't too bad, but I've seen enough horribly bad rap and country to know to stay away from it.
I like music for the lyrics, mostly, but the overall sound does count for a lot as well.
