Last year in study hall I had a teacher who had recently spent two years in Japan teaching the students there English. She brought all kinds of cool stuff, but the coolest was ANIME!!! Instead of just sitting around doing homework we would watch all sorts of cool shows. That's how I first learned about Naruto, DN Angel, and Fullmetal Alchemist to name a few.

How did the rest of you DN fans get into the show?

First week of October 2003. my friend brought a Newtype USA Magazine to school. I was flipping through the pages and I landed on an article about DNAngel... (It was the pic where Daisuke was being hugged to death by Towa and Mio Hio and dark was in his chibi form all laughing at him)... on the next page was a quiz "wich chara r u most like?" I got Wiz. no mistery who he got sweatdrop .

I, too, found out about DNAngel through Newtype. Not the October issue, though . . . it was one of the ones before that. I was looking through the pages, came to the page that showed new shows in Japan, and they had pictures of all the characters. I took one look at Daisuke and thought, "Homygosh that boy's cute."

So then, I did some Google searching, found the DNAngel site Offramp, and found out more about the series . . . I basically fell in love. Then I saw the first volume for sale at Waldenbooks, and I just grabbed it right of the shelf. You should've seen me when I heard that ADV was lisencing the anime. xd

The latest show I'm stalking like this is Kyo Kara Maou. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on Suncoast for the next 4 months or so. xd

Uh, I started reading DNAngel because I went to the local bookstore and I saw the fourth volume! I thought wiz was really cute, so I started reading it! Strange reason, I know, but it's true! whee sweatdrop

I found some scanlations of the manga a looong time ago, before it came out over here. XD Then, I was looking through a site with anime for download and saw that there was an anime too! So, of course, I had to download and try it out ^___^

And ... I ended up getting and watching all the anime before even reading up to volume 4 of the manga, because the scanlation site was slower than the site with the anime sweatdrop

honestly i bought the book cuz i fell in love with the art. after i read it, the i just wanted to keep reading it.
most of the time i just buy random books at the store cuz i like the art. after that, i just cant put it down...most the time =^_^=

that is soooo cool!

It all started during my freshman year of highschool ( year 2001? i think) . I was in the anime club and, the anime club screened a new anime each month during the fridays. One day, during a general meeting, the president of the club announced the screening of DNAngel for one of the months. I heard lots of people whispering about how badly they all wanted to see it. So, I attended the first Friday screening for the new month and decided to actually watch the anime--rather than just draw (like I would usually do during all the previous screenings).
I couldn't take my eyes off the screen one bit as I watched it--it was so cool! And then there was a hint of shounen-ai (yay!) which got me even more interested! By the time the episode had finished--I wanted to see more! But...I had to wait til next Friday to see the second episode.

When I got home, DNAngel was all I could talk about to my sisters and I just simply had to see more! So, sophomore year, my friend of whom I call "Sanzo-kun" let me borrow all her DNAngel episodes--I watched them all once the weekends came....WAAAH! IT'S SO GOOD! I thought to myself as I watched every single episode.

OOOkay, well, that's how I got into DNAngel ^^; sorry, it's rather long...
