So, due to the teachers' strike which temporarily extended the summer freedom AND permanently decreased the breaks (particularly the Winter Break ><), I started school last Monday, just a day before my birthday.
I don't like my birthday being the second of school. It's ridiculous.
I think most of my classes are alright, but... GASP, I have to participate more in "Socratic seminars". I'm not a great speaker nor am I very enthusiastic about that. Also, I don't understand what people are talking about most of the time so it's kind of pointless. Though, I do hope that I'll discuss more because my grades really depend on that. Especially in AP World History.
The mile run in P.E. was killer, gave me a headache. At least I got my first mile run time of the school year -- 11:11. It's pretty good, methinks.
Most of my teachers are really alright, but my English teacher... seems a little senile. For example, she had us say "Good evening Mrs. ___, we are ready to impress" at the start of the classes for three days or so. It might continue. She's alright too, despite what my friends think.
So, if you have school this year (and I know that some of you guys are adults and therefore not in school), please do share! <3
