Now lets talk about the anime. What did you all hate or love. Does certain things need to be changed? Who liked the ending and who didn't. Just talk about something that has to deal with the anime.

The directing needed to be better as I remember (it was a while ago). Or rather, the dub. I expected better. Overall, it was meh but that's just me.

agree with you a bit because, one the english dub became annoying after a while especially with Mia. It was different than the manga which was good and bad. i didn't like the fact that he liked Risa instead of Riku for more than half the series, that bugged me. but i did like exploring the possiblities that could have happened that weren't in the books.

The arcs that I didn't like were definitely the Mio Hio arc and the Second Hand of Time. I mean, come on. FIVE episodes with nothing but boring(yet beautiful) scenery? *sigh* oh David Williams...(director of DN Angel)
Speaking of scenery, however, I don't think anyone can disagree that the anime was absolutely gorgeous. The CG, while still looking CGish, was perfectly placed in each episode. It was just mind-blowing, how beautiful everything was. If you're an artist, and you haven't seen DN Angel, just watch one episode. Especially the villa scenes. They're beautiful.
There were some material in the anime that did not need to be there(cough Mio Hio/Second Hand of Time cough cough), but some things in the manga needed to be there! I think the meeting of Krad could've been better. D: NO MEETING IN FREEZER!! MEET ON BEACH!!

Yeah, I think the anime was good, especially the scenery. I liked the music too, but in most animes they have good music. I also agree with ReiFlower about how bad the Second Hand of Time thing, but I haven't read the manga, but I will.

I disagree, and I think Dark looks waaaaaaaay better with purple hair. stare
Even in the manga, dark has purple hair. Also, Dark did not need to die. He shouldn't have died. crying I was so sad when he died. It was a terrible ending. And, Satoshi didn't end up with Risa. Why not????? xp

Well, i still unsure if Dark actually died in the anime. Because there was a continuation of the anime in Monthly Asuka and there was also a game that both were suppose to end it and i don't think they could have wrote the rest of the story which was supposively like 2 books long or something without Dark. So maybe just maybe he lived.

Wow! that's a different opinion. most people become very upset at the end of the anime. Though i have to admit that it was cute at the end but it was still a major cliff-hanger and the fact that dark disappeared was sad.

Though, it is not my favortie over the manga, I loved the anime. 1) Because, Vic, Illich, and Greg = love, and they are talented voice actors. 2.) Because you got to see different ideas that might not have been able to make it into the manga 3.) The Japanese cast is also very awesome. I just love be able to hear awesome characters get voices. You know instead of hearing voices in your head while you're reading the manga like I do XD XD I'm crazy I know. But with the manga, there's a bit more plot and they drag out the love even more, just until we are painfully insane from waiting. Though that sounds evil I like it XD

I've only seen the first episode of the anime, but I wasn't too fond of the voices for the characters. I'm going to have to watch the rest sometime, because I'm curious about how it differs from the manga.

I wish I could watch the anime but unfortunately I only thought about it reecently since I am only recently rekindling my interest in the series but now i can't seem to find the anime anywhere. can anyone here tell me where a good place to buy it would be? Oh and if I posted this in the wrong thread I'm sorry. Just notify me and I'll delete it as soon a sI can if the need comes. ninja ninja ninja

It's an okay place to post. But anyways, have you tried veoh. i think they have all the episode and also in english dub.
