I live in an area affected by Hurricane Ike, no damage to my house but lots of trees fell down.
There was a company that was going to pick up debris, but only if it was piled neatly and the big logs were cut into little logs.
So we got our chainsaw-wielding missionaries out to help us clean up.

I'm starting to write comics, and one of mine is called that. The comic itself is about a dysfunctional single-parent family with four kids.

-Jeff is a loving, caring kid who pretends to be emo and pessimistic to hide his emotions.

-Hubert is a very metro/effeminate guy who is carefree and absent minded about everything.

-Lucy is the second to youngest, about four and is a completely naive airhead. Stereotypical blond.

-Damien (aka demon spawn) is a the baby of the family. His trade marks are a sharp dagger and a plastic toy gun he modified to shoot real bullets. He is evil incarnate.

-Mom is mom. She tried to keep order, and maintains her cool in light of the extreme things that go on in her house.

Anyway, the comic starts out with Jeff asking Hubert (who's meditating to music) where Damien is. Hubert absently responds that he saw Damien making lunch. Jeff is immediately alarmed as Damien was probably goin to poison them and isn't even allowed in the kitchen. he rushes for mom and takes her there where the two find Damien seasoning a giant cauldron which Lucy is dangling above.
