Yesterday my mom finally saw my first tattoo [which is a fourleaf clover on my foot]. She didn't react like I thought she would. I expected an "Oh, Rach, what in the world is that?' -points to foot- But no, she just said "Is that a new tattoo?" I said yes, and she said "A lucky fourleaf clover on your right foot. -smiles- Only you would get something like that." And then she laughed a little. It was actually a really happy moment, one of those little moments that you remember every now and then that just make you smile.
Now, my mom's not one for tattoos, she hates them actually, so that should explain to you why I was so surprised. I have another tattoo on my left forearm that she sees every day. [I actually went over right after is was finished to show her, she didn't like that I had a tattoo, but the meaning was a good one.] But the one on my foot she didn't even know about until just then.

i have abslutly no hidden tattoo's from anyone i like to show them off lol
BUT when i told my mom i was getting a new one she didn't sound too impressed and when she saw the size of it on my leg LMMFAO that lookk was priceless simply priceless .. she dislikes large tattoo's and to find that her oldest daughter has the largest tatt in the family was not something she was impressed with .. and she hates the fact that i have it on my calf muscle because I wear shorts all summer long LOL BUT she can't say much other then she doesn't like it because I don't live with her..
Can't wait till I get my other calf done .. but first this one needs a finishing

Well everyone knows except my dads side, they're very Pentecostal and think im Satan's spawn anyhow. But they never see me and of course they aren't told XD
I wanted to keep mine a secret, but i told my mom because she was bugging me where all my money went, and she was like 'you bought crack with it didnt you?' Though i've never even smoked or drank XDD
So i showed her so she would believe i wasnt a good girl turn crack addict.
Then at 2am she ran and woke my dad up and told him what 'his daughters done now' LAWWLL
My 18th birthday was a fiasco.

I one hidden "secret" tattoo, that only Pete and the tattoo artist who did it know about. Since it is secret we won't talk about it wink .
The only surprising reaction that I remember, is once a lady in a store, (I think Walmart) saw a small corner of the rose on my back and she started trying to raise my shirt to see it! I mean yeah I know some people really like them and want to see them, but, sheesh, they SHOULD ASK FIRST.

I don't have any hidden tattoos. I like to show mine off. I even wear sandals 99% of the time just to show off my foot tattoo. But, I think that shoes are stupid and should be banned anyway! I have always prefered being barefoot my whole life! Ok, Ok, that is going off subject, but I try to get most of my tattoos in well seen places. Not to be a show off or anything, just because I think they are pretty and I want to be able to see them myself. smile

Man I hid my first tattoo for a good.. idk 6 months? before my rents found it. I think it was prom dress shopping when my mom finally saw. She HATES the idea of tattoos, shes very like.. conservative I guess and is constanting trying to make me look "normal" but she actually loved my rose and was okay with my kanji... yet I keep getting more and more and she gets so pissed. Half the time she ends up liking what I get but she just gets so pissed that I get a tattoo, and is constantly saying, "No more sarrr, no more." and im like ******** thattt. Ha, when I got my back peace I got the silent treatment for 2 weeks. It was amazing.

my parents knew from the get go i was getting tattoos. i never told them wen i got tattoos and they will smile and laugh at me wen they discover a new one. but its all good.
i think the only crazy response i had was after i got my nail bunny tattoo and was wearing a short sleave shirt in town and some old lady crushed my foot with her walker. it wasnt perticularly painful, i was more in shock that i had been assulted by a pentioner.
and at random moments at parties people will pull at my clothes looking for more tattoos like some bizzare easter egg hunt. its amasing that with the addition of alcohol i can be mistaken for a copy of wheres wally... emo

almost all of my tattoos are kept hidden at work, only because some of the residents freak out when they see the one on my wrist, so i just tell them i have the one. otherwise, it's halter tops, tube tops, capris, and skirts all summer to show off my art collection blaugh
my dad is against tattoos and keeps trying to tell me no more, so every time i get a new one it's like a game to see how long i can hide it from him. i made it a month and a half with the dragonfly on my hip, and two and a half months with my pin up. my grandma has threatened to disown me over my pin-up (but then again i'm the hell child, so i don't take her seriously) so that one definitely stays covered at family functions!

As of the moment I have no "hidden" tattoos. My first one... the one on my ankle.. some would say that is hidden since I wear jeans most of the time. Yes even in summer... Anyway, I show that one off every chance I get. I'm proud of my first tat! My other one I don't even bother to hide. Nor will my other ones be hidden once I get the money for 'em! I can understand having hidden tats for sentimental value or whatnot, but I prefer to show mine off. Yes, mine are all stationed around my religious beliefs... I'm a spiritual monolatrist... but I enjoy talking to people about them anyway. If not for the religious aspect then for the mythological aspect! XD

When my mom knew it, she was so disappointed of myself. She asks me to remove it with laser. But I won't ever.
I love my Catrina. She is the very first thing that I always see through my mirror reflection.

Heh, my mom was there for all three of my tattoos, and she even bought me the first two as birthday/christmas presents. XD

She is the very first thing that I always see through my mirror reflection. Dude you tried to hide that thing? Its kinda large x3 But it's SO pretty, it really is ^^ I cant believe she didnt like it =/
