I've been having some trouble hearing bass in most songs I hear. I really want to learn, say, Drowning Lessons by MCR, Hemorrhage (In My Hands) by Fuel, and Drain You by Nirvana.
Problem is, I can't hear the bass. At all. It's most likely because my speakers are only in monotone, but I've always had trouble hearing it no matter when it was and wherever.
Is there a way to train the ear to hear it? It'll help me along really well, cause I'm pulling an unsuccessful Beethoven deal here.

I wouldnt call this ear training BUT... When i started out and couldnt hear a bass line, I looked along with the bass tabs. With that I slowly began to hear it. After a while you will notice the bass in other songs better. Need any help tabbing let me know. Ill try and help if I can.

Try looking up a version of the song with bass boost on youtube or something. That might help.

Thanks for the help, both of you. The tabs sound like a good idea, and so does the YouTube thing.
