Welcome to the Pride Lands' breeding subforum! Home of all things related to breedings. Please be sure to read everything in this thread and follow the instructions that apply to you. Failure to do so may result in a graylisting, or in severe cases, a blacklist.

So please, read and understand all of the following information and you'll do well here in Pride Lands. Thanks!

These rules are to be followed by regulars and newcomers alike. There are no exceptions for these rules, they are here for a reason.

  • Pride Lands no longer takes bribes! Please do not ask us about bribes, the answer will be an automatic "no." We believe bribes are unfair to those who cannot afford them, they take away the availability of regular slots and it's just unnecessary for even the person paying such a high price.
  • Cubs can be given away, but cannot be sold! You can either give cubs to someone you and your breeding partner has agreed on, or host an RP event in the event section of the guild.
  • Listen to what the colorist has to say. It may be a question or concern that's needed to be heard to save both the colorist's time and yours.
  • Pestering a colorist about a pending breeding is not recommended. While some colorists are more tolerant than others, it is still very stressful when people are constantly harassing them. On top of Gaia tasks, they have real-life situations that always come before the internet. So please, be patient.
  • Do not bug colorists about opening slots! They will open them on their own time, not yours.
  • Breedings are not customs! This means that you cannot request a cub to look a certain way unless stated otherwise by the colorists! If you don't like how they came out, too bad! The colorists did their best and you should respect their imagination/creativity.
  • Most breeding slots are first-come, first-serve. This usually works like a flatsale, where a "GO!" post will be made and requests follow. On occasion, however, a colorist might make getting a slot into a game.
  • You must send your breeding trade after you have been confirmed your slot. Keep in mind that not all of the colorists will accept them right away, however.
  • Post both certed pictures of the breeding pair. If you cannot provide a colorist with a certed image, you must explain why.
  • Asking for an extra cub is no longer acceptable due to the new bribe rule. If there is a legitimate reason (and I mean GOOD reason) as to why you need an extra cub (maybe you owe someone something or it's for an extremely important plot, etc), then you must discuss this with the colorists of the breeding. Keep in mind that the colorist has the right to say no and you must respect it.
  • In relation to that, only role play required slots are allowed to do it!
  • A colorist has the right to refuse any breeding that she/he feels they cannot do.
  • A colorist also has the right to refuse a breeding if you never stop by the main thread.
  • Because we're all different, every colorist has their own set of rules within their dens, so be sure to read their rules as well as these.

  • Taking bribes is unacceptable! If a customer is trying to bribe you in any way (pleading, whining, lying, worming, giving excuses, etc.), report said customer to a manager right away.
  • You may accept tips! However, never request or expect them from customers.
  • You may open up to five slots a month. If you wish to open more than the maximum amount, you must be completely up-to-date with growings and other customer requests.
  • If you choose not to open up breeding slots, please be sure to message the mule or a manager to they can update the slot times thread.
  • Although this is not required, avoid accepting payment until the breeding request is complete. We rather not have people accusing you of stealing their money when you're only just been taking a while to finish it up.
  • If you simply feel that you cannot complete or even do a certain breeding, please let the customer and a manager know! We can help work out a plan to ensure that the customer gets what they wanted.
  • Once the breeding is completed, your form of notifying the customer is up to you. This means you can post it in your journal, the main thread, and/or the pick-up post of the main thread.
  • What types of slots to open up and how many is totally up to you! You can choose to open up all RPR slots, or none at all. Do try to mix it up sometimes, however.
