I thought the whole point of being a fan was that you enjoy something, not disrespect it by dressing as an imitation, but hey I could just be crazy.
I'm not quite sure how to take that. Dressing like a character embodies the old quotation "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". I enjoy getting to play Vash, and I have other avis (some original, some not) for when I want to be somebody else. I guess I'm confused about the "disrespectful" part. When some movie star wears a unique outfit and then suddenly everybody is dressing that way, they call it "fashion" rather than "disrespect".
