Okay, no one else has been active here for a while and I hope it's because you've been busy actually playing spore.
I noticed something I found quite interesting when I was playing on Space mode. I actually ran into the planet of another of my races. Apparently all the save files do really share the same galaxy. I began to scheme about having some race be in tribal or civilization stage and have a nearby space age race come and blow up all the opposition but unfortunately you can't use any tools on other home planets. You can't use weapons, friendly tools, sculpting or coloring tools, you can't even abduct. All you can do is scan everything. I was able to make my shaman visit my bard's colony and use the super happy ray and send an embassy so they're friends now.
Anyway, in actuality the followers of Spode I encounter always annoy me because as a shaman I tried being friends with everyone I meet but the zealots keep starting wars with other nearby races and I'm friends with both of them so I can't intervene but they consistently ask me to. What I had to do was switch my philosophy from harmony to prosperity so I could buy all of the zealots' planets until they don't have enough territory to attack anyone else.

ive been playing SPORE the grox empire in space stage they are annoying i havent been talking in the forums as much ill try so ill try and speak in the forums more

Something I thought was funny was there were two different Wub empires.
Like, the first Wub Empire I found, I made allies With and we're all buddy buddy, but then way later, I found a completely different Wub Empire.
They were the same creature, but they had different clothing and were not buddy buddy...They no longer exsist. twisted

The first race I came into contact with where Spode lovers. They started a war with the second race I found...
I just left them alone, because I was getting attacked by my military neighbors, so I was saving up for city bombs better shields, health and pulse lasers to massacre their planet for attacking a colony I liked.
Because I was right next to my home planet I would attack, destroy as much as I could and then go home for health and energy. Only died once and took out the whole eight planet empire, including their home planet.
It would of been easier to colonize if I didn't destroy all of the cities. xp

Whenever I conquer a home planet I fly to the planet's orbit, go down and attack one of the cities and if it surrenders I fly back up to orbit and save again, if it gets destroyed I exit without saving and reload. I do this until I take over the entire planet without destroying a single city. It takes a while but it is so worth it.

I hate Spode... I'm a warrior and they basically keep yelling at me "Repent or die..." Then I just go over and blow them up! twisted
